Recently discovered you accidentally in front of my YT channel and now intoxicately addicted to the served content. I strictly avoid online educational podcasts/videos nor do I serf any of the social medias. I'm a staunch solitary being, a literary critic(naqqaad), poet, afsananigar and translator. I've been continuously sharing your video links in my WhatsApp status for the past few days. In addition to it I am a student of Philosophy and English Lit. Within a period of two days I'm obligated to finalize opting my Master's subject between Philosophy and English Lit, as the counciling begins afterwards instantly. I am luckily eligible to choose either of them for my respective University (Allahabad University), but finding myself absolutely failed to finalize either of the two as both are limitlessly dear to me. Can you somehow help me regarding the stated situation mentioned above? Should I go with Literature or Philosophy? (The only drawback with the latter is that I'm not well versed in Logic !)

I had an question. Since this concept of soul, Plato's idea of an ideal world that we can't see in this world seems similar to our Abrahamic religions. We can safely say that Abrahamic religions have Platonic basis. Right?
Then To which degree Islam has Greek Influence?
Here in India also people had came up with Aatma and Swarg(Heaven). Can we say here in India this idea devloped independently?
Christianity borrowed a lot from Greeks. There are many passages in New Testament that are copied from Homer’s Odyssey. Christianity is a combination of Hebraic and Greek traditions. I made a video on Saint Paul who invented Christianity. Islam borrowed heavily from Christianity/ Judaism.
Greeks borrowed many ideas from East, could be India or Egypt or Mesopotamia.
Agar Pythagoras Egypt na gata parhnay Kay liye… things would have been very different!!!

Yar yeh Thymos purana concept hai - Plato ka. Plato kay dialogue "Republic" main isko detail main bataya hai plato nay (meri video dekho Republic per). Plato bolta hai kay human soul kay 3 parts hotay hain
(1) Logos (in the head) - rationality / reason----------------------------------------------------philosophers
(2) Thymos (in the chest) - emotions / feelings / bravery / SPRIT-------------------warriors
Thymos is the part of the human personality that demands recognition of one’s inner dignity, and the seat of the emotions of pride, anger, and of shame.
(3) Eros (in the stomach) - bodily needs/ sex / food----------------------------------------farmers / craftsmen /mazdoor

I would recommend you to read and learn some material on RUclips Channel's success. i.e. Script of the video, understanding your audience deeply (Subcontinent Mindset), animations, sounds effects, audio highs and lows optimization (so it doesn't hurt the viewers ears), and vision to make your channel like Dhruv Rathee's Channel. 30M + Subscribers and 10M + views on most of videos. It is not impossible. I can see the potential to come in use. Maybe, right now, you might be into financial job/business making high money. But with this kind of RUclips power that I mentioned earlier, it will be a different level of RUclips income. Not to mention your social status and power in general. Please, don't mind my comment. How am I to tell anybody what one can do. But you ignore it if it wasn't helpful.
