Grace is class and beauty. She knows how to handle herself with poise. Jessy is simple, lovely girl nothing more than that. But Mr. Essex I think misses passion and energy and a different level of interaction that he had with Grace. He also knows Grace can handle his attacks, but Jessy would crumble in hysteria.
