These two MEN are clearly getting mightily tired of being FORCED to pretend they're NOT a couple. I think they're doing this gauge fan reaction (though they MUST know ARMY loves them and wants them to be happy, including ARMY parents like me) and also prepare the path so it's not a complete shock to everyone when they do go public...sort of "m'eh we'd already guessed as much" and that way there will be less bad reactions from general people and haters can't damage as much.

I have friends in most of the East Asian countries and they tell me that skinship there is a very rare thing in public. In fact skinship there is not the free and easy thing it is here in the West at all. As you say, you're Asian and YOU know you don't do it. Korea is the LEAST likely to have much skinship in public generally - that's why it's the 'couples clothing' capital of the world - and DEFINITELY NOT between men (it's sadly only a step up from being as closed off to the LGBT community as China).
Add to that the fact that a lot of their touching is romantic - I mean the way I would touch my husband and not the way I would touch my female friend (even though she's like a sister to me and I've known her since kindergarten) - then you see why so many of us say "it's love and they're a couple".
