Hi Peter can see from the Video that there is an extra strengthening modification to the rotiserrie located in the door. could you discuss or possibly make an video describing the lengths and angles thanks for great vids and keep fixing these old porsches

Cool product, looks like a fat weld for thin sheet metal at the end of the video, resulting in blowing holes into the metal. Try using a smaller gauge wire and turning down the welder a tad.

Have you considered selling this rotisserie? It’s a great design but some enthusiasts don’t have the tools to make it

you did not explain at all how this rocker is stronger than the original one. Whats different, what makes it stronger?

its not stronger than original, it goes over the original adding more rigidity by making it thicker. It's not a replacement part to fix weak or rusted frames, it's an add-on to clean frames for extra stiffness.

Is this the piece from auto atlanta?

Don't think so, RD fabricate their own pieces

No. I think this part originally came from 914LTD

I just order these pieces to reinforce the weakest part on my 914 project and for improve safety

Is that a replacement part or an add on part?

Why do people need frame stiffeners? Is it for a speedster conversion?

Not usually for a speedster conversions, but more if someone is adding more power, or if they want to do some autocrossing or racing

      It’s a 97HP car from the 70s that people put V8s in.
They respond well to extra stiffening.

The cars were flexi-flyers new from the factory. With the top off the Longs (& floor) are the only stiffening from front to back. IMO a better solution is the chassis stiffening kits welded to the inside of the cabin.
