Always been a super casual player in WoW. Melderon got me into Shamans for classic, and you sir, have just started my path down PvP. I have been SLEEPING on Purge!! Just respeced from enh to ele/resto. Going for that 31/0/20 build. Cant wait to get home from work and do some experimenting. Subbed for sure, my dude. :) will definitely be checking in daily!
His videos are excellent, real deep dives. I'm glad to have positively impacted your sham style! and yeah you really have to weave purge into your spells, it's as important if not more important than doing damage. Any mage or priest shield is just gone, paladin freedom gone, buffs etc gone haha I've been trying to use cleanse poison more often against hunters, makes a massive difference too

Yasssss finally!! Keep uploading these videos, they’re very helpful! I’m learning a lot. One question, should a ele shaman stack spell dmg, or spell crit chance ?
hey my dude! glad you're learning something haha I'm definitely not a great teacher but I'm pumped you're learning. You really should want both. Stamina is super important too in pvp, along with spell crit and power. Not sure if crit or power have an order but I'd always shoot for both.
SlothzyyTv if you had to choose between crit chance or spell dmg, which would you pick? Let’s say you get two BiS items, but one has spell and the other has crit, which?
@CounterStrike211 I agree, I'd try for crit first and spell power second although it's almost equally as important
How are you dismounting and casting so quickly? There's always a delay for me with or without an auto-dismounting addon.
Not too sure homie, I use a keybind for my dismount and just spam the shock I need

My shaman is only level 32 and Im playing as Enhancement spec right now but I originally planned at beginning to try as Elemental but eventually changed to Enhancement once I reached level 10 or so but now that I saw how powerful Elementals are maybe time for to spec change to Elemental haha. Think its worth to spec change at level 32 or should I just continue with Enhancement and spare the initial 1g cost talent reset?
Good choice on the shammy! Tbh I only swapped once I had a good shield and hypno blade. That being said it truly wasnt easy, you're going to spend alot if time drinking. I'd probably advise you to stay enhancement until 40+ I know hearing that sucks because I didnt do that. But it probably would've been a smoother ride just earthbound kiting windfury procs. The gear for elemental is super important and that kinda gear doesnt drop as often early game
@@SlothzyyTv So somewhere level 45 then is it good to be Elemental? Yeah thats why I decided to be Enhancement back at lower level because I realized how mana costy it is to cast Lightning Bolt and drink alot
@@reii8929 honestly homie if you go farm hypno blade now and find a solid caster shield you can swap at 40 because you'll get ele mastery talent makes a MASSIVE difference in pvp

I’m having trouble killing warlocks in duels any advice anyone?
If they get the drop on you they're quite difficult to deal with. Dropping tremor is a must, try to hang around it for the pulse every few seconds incase of fear. Death coil I'm not sure if it can be grounded or not, but I generally try to get my grounding and trem totems out as soon as I see them start casting, cycling earth shock is really important for the interupt. If i recall you can also purge sac, so if they have a voidwalker out and you get some big damage on them expect a shield then purge it. If they are running suc or fel try kiting with earthbind or frost shock. these are some noobish tips to help you out. hope they help!

@@SlothzyyTv ya man first time leveling horde in classic especially a shaman, great fun class im enjoying it so far level 9 atm with 75 engineering im going to try and max that out lol. But ya great so far man the grind begins
@@Alex-ti5rc oh ya the grind gets way easier as enhancement at lvl 30. Goodluck brother get those levels up before the release of pvp ranks

@@Alex-ti5rc I'd definitely suggest leveling enhance until 40. Try to secure a solid shield and hypno blade by that time. Once you get windfury at 30, you should practice earthbind kiting. That way you trade 1 for 1 hits with the mob but you have a chance of doing major damage while not taking as many hits. Otherwise it's pretty standard leveling experience. Carry lots of water at all times because shaman is one of the most inefficient classes for mana spending

You have to stop posting these. I have to try and focus on getting my lock looked lvled lol. Out off lock, hunter and a shaman for phase 2 what would you recommend for pvping
I'm having too good of a time to stop, the class is amazing I'm not even good at it yet and it's very good. Can only get better :D tbh I don't know all the details of what classes change in what ways for the patch. I'll be playing shaman though because WPVPbecomes even more important in 8.2 and that's all I do now :D

@@lookherelooklisten3078 feels pretty balanced my dude! We've been enjoying it so far. It feels a bit more alliance heavy but for me that's a bonus haha

This is my current build i'm rolling with, only real changes will be swapping ele mastery for natures swiftness later on.
and maybe also reverberation/call of flame not 100% sure where i'd like those points to max.

Did the rank14 pvp grind back in Vanilla as a warrior. I play shaman now, can attest that Shaman is a much more fun class to play.

I'll say this much, enhance would've been far simpler to level to 60. Ele is just really enjoyable but doesnt really come online until 40+ even then I'd tell you to probably wait for sp gear :)
@@SlothzyyTv yes indeed, but i really thought that windfury was good in pvp, it is good but you cannot rely on the procc always. sometimes you have no luck and die because of missing burst

Since everyone isnt level 60, and the ones who are don't give a damn about pvp. unless they full t1 raidlogging camping black rock mountain with their guildies XD. I feel like if I was more around level 50 rn I would be having so much fun with all the pvp!!

@@RepairVibe every class definitely has its strengths and weaknesses. But the sub rogue crits are especially nasty. But even ele sham. I chain light earth shock crit someone for just under 2k last night and I'm only 48. Cannot wait for 60 :D at that time I'll continue leveling my rogue in between shaman vids
Don't know what's so special on hitting mostly meele classes with a hard Cast while they are mounted or questing and than killing them..
Some good parts are there but most of the fights are hitting first and bursting, no real channeling duels.
So to be honest with you, just so you understand the process. I spend hours most days, legit hours searching, picking fights and trying to record half decent content for you guys. This is the best of what I can get sometimes, with challenging* duels happening very rarely. It seems like it happens on both sides of the fence, but most days alliance won't fight me one on one, they'll wait until they've got a nice 1v2 or 1v3 advantage before ever fighting back. That being said, organized pvp isn't in the game yet. I'm also not level 60 yet.. and ganking has been in the game since the beginning, and if you don't think it happens to me infinite times per night you're dead WRONG. Either way, I enjoy making these videos, and a vast majority of people who watch seem to enjoy, so hopefully It'll be satisfactory for you in the future.

So what you're saying is, there should be no content before everyone gets to max level and geared? I don't think that makes sense mate, I'm just trying to share some fun content on the way to 60 and geared, at which point the videos will turn up 100%.
@@SlothzyyTv Yeah - I agree. I'm (as you mentioned in one of your vids) am an alt-aholic as well... I have 6 (almost 8) characters at level 20 already... just cannot decide. Your vids make the decision harder - but are exactly the sort of content I'm looking for... survival on a PvP server solo as a shaman trying to level. Subbed.
Edit: 1 small suggestion: Add your talent build to the info part of the vid? I know you're going for a 31/0/20 (or 30/0/21) but would be cool to see your progression(s) even from the older vids when you were Enhance!
@@henderson0721 the life of an altaholic is a rough one. But one of variety! Yeah I figured I'd be only making it worse but entertaining for the people haha thanks for the suggestion I'll be making sure to do that from now on. Slowly but surely these videos are getting more complete :)
