Facts!
Because of his bulk Magic could guard the opposing center better than most 1 or 2 Guards. That and staying injury free separated him from the rest. Hoping Coach gets a ring this year. Guy has the most impressive body of work of any Tiger to date including Coach Finch (Peace Be With Him). Tigers haven't been this feared since D. Rose 1 & done. We Ready!!!
Him and shaq would have started a dynasty with the right pieces around them, if it were not for the injuries. He's another great player tragedy story like Derrick Rose.

Well, technically Oscar Robertson was born in Tennessee, so even though he left for Indianapolis when just 18 months old, if you included Oscar, then Penny would be Number 2. But, that's really not fair to include a guy who left before he was 2 years old and didn't grow up playing in the state. Penny is the best of the guys who grew up in the state. But, just so you know who the greatest basketball BORN in Tennessee is and I'm sure Penny would agree if that's the criteria. :)

I think with 7’4 Edey it clogs up the lane making Memphis offense rethink their approach as I just watched they are a dangerous driving team. Purdue will definitely have to play faster than usual on the defensive side but I think they can control their offense in normal slow playing style.

Kinda expected this after Sassers injury. Did not expect them to get roasted and toasted tho! Rooting for the Cougs, but both teams are to be feared.
We played them without KD KENDRICK DAVIS on the road and had a chance to win the game. We still beat the #1 team in the country. We lost to them by a buzzer beater as well with them fully healthy. What is your point? A win is a win. A Loss is a loss.

Houston just blew my 3 leg parlay. With the rockets, don't ever bet Houston basketball.
Came here to see the potential Memphis team that matches up with Purdue and my take away is Edey can clog up the lane which stops the dangerous driving I just watched from Memphis forcing them to a much slower paced shooting game on their end. Meanwhile Memphis plays fast on defense too which will make Purdue work for their entry feeds to Edey.
Memphis can shoot it too sir😅

Continue the standard Memphis can never be in the wrong side of the referee when playing the Houston cougars, and combine that with Marcus Sasser not giving any production, is anyone surprised Memphis was able to have their way with this game? This is one of those championships to not be taken seriously. Memphis is not of the same level of play as Houston and it is quite evident that every narrative for the event had to go Memphis' way for them to accomplish the victory. This is not a rivalry so much as Memphis just wanting to think they belong in the same class.

It will refute every objection you have. Go on and look. It's not easy to recognize greatness. Just the fact that you would believe Houston has had the officiating in their pocket shows you don't really know anything about them as a team. Shows you could never appreciate what they've accomplished.
