This reimagining of Metal Gear as an anime was beautifully done. You could really feel the emotional tension between Venom and Solid Snake. The whole story made sense and fit perfectly into the lore. Well done. 👏 I can’t wait to see MG2: Solid Snake.
I ADORE the effort of expanding the details between Big Boss's/Venom Snake's betrayal and Solid Snake's reaction to the betrayal in more detail. In the original game, Venom really just looked like a villain because of the limited size of dialogue the game has. Even in MGSV, we still wonder how would Venom Snake would converse to Solid Snake considering the whole reason Outer Heaven was built, and Venom's experiences.
I have been waiting for this for so long and well worth it! The finale got me glued, hooked, and excited too. Looking forward to Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake
Thank you for recreating the story of this underrated game. You portrayed the characters throughout the series with utter perfection. The speech from Venom with love deterrence in the back really hit my feelings. Incredible job, i hope you are proud because you made history here.

That was incredible. First the story is respected, there are multiple add-ons to it to incluse MGS V but also many MGS references, the dubbing was cool, the pictures were cool, the use of the music was way beyond what I would expect from a project like this. Overall it's an incredible way to discover MG1 in my opinion. Plus, you made me remember why I love Metal Gear so much. It's always a fucking trip
One idea I had for the ending: It’d be cool for it to mirror some aspects of MGS3. Solid Snake approaches Venom’s broken body, and Venom encourages him to kill him because “one must die and one must live,” a recreation of Big Boss and The Boss. But unlike his “father,” Solid refuses to shoot, saying “The world would be a better place if people could just put the gun down.” Venom then speaks. He doesn’t fully reveal his identity of course, but somewhat confesses it, saying he used to be one of MSF’s top medics, that he had dreams of eventually retiring from military life altogether to become a civilian doctor, but then he “got roped into all this bs.” Solid ponders this slight revelation, never knowing “Big Boss” was a medic at one point, but is forced to flee when the Metal Gear hangar starts collapsing. Then when he starts the long ladder climb to the surface, “Here’s To You” plays.
@@Tallahassee21There’s a theory that Intrude N312 and 13 were both Big Boss sending his best agents to assassinate Venom after he went rogue (possibly as a result of nanomachine injections to help with a surgery to remove his shrapnel horn,) in order to take over Outer Heaven for himself. Gray Fox and Solid Snake were supposed to “report false information” by not finding any proof that the fortress had a Metal Gear or the means to create nuclear weapons, throwing The Patriots off their scent. But Solid “went too far” by discovering the opposite was the case and destroying Metal Gear. As well, the theory suggests Venom Snake didn’t pretend to be Big Boss in 1995 out of camaraderie; it was because he hated him for using him, and wanted to have revenge by destroying his reputation.
@@Tallahassee21It’s a lot of speculation, mainly based on the lack of official evidence one way or the other. All we know for certain is that Venom Snake was pretending to be Big Boss leading Outer Heaven in ‘95, and the uprising was (presumably) against the Patriots. The few tidbits that point toward it are how strange it is for BB to send agents to infiltrate his own fortress, and Venom punching the mirror when he learns the truth - more specifically, that that scene ACTUALLY happens in ‘95, NOT ‘84, since the DD logo behind him changes to OH when he does it, and you can hear distant gunshots. It happening at that time, and him being presumably angry about the tape when he does it, makes it a slight possibility that he realized in that bathroom he was played by his former commander - he was just another Skull Face. I do realize he still has the horn and brown hair rather than no horn and grey hair even after that, but that could be retconned.
I think due to ocelot and major zero plan to implant memories in a man who isn’t big boss and then do plastic surgery to make him look like him it’s doomed to fail. The mind is a very fragile thing and complex no matter how much control they thought they had at some point the mind breaks and venom realized that his memories are not his! It’s just sadder that it takes kaz a while to realize it or he finally gets the idea of the truth and becomes pissed at venom and the real big boss over everything that happened! When the real big boss didn’t know until later on after being in a coma for so long and being tested on to make solid snake and liquid and solidus without his consent!

@@TheLoresmith I can hardly wait for your zanzibarland arc! You're going to have to remake the big boss fight differently since the original msx version had BB Being a cyborg since mgs v hadn't even been thought up yet. Lol.
You DID NOT DISAPPOINT AT ALL. The wait was worth it!!! Love how this concluded. Thank you we can hopefully await for Part 2. Please keep us posted😎👍✊🤘✌️
I’m glad it didn’t disappoint, very tough thing tackling a series so beloved! Could have gone so horribly wrong! 😅
@@TheLoresmith Solid dude. Please keep me posted for Part 2. I would love too see you do Snake's Revenge please consider it😊🙏
THIS WAS AMAZING!! No lie the RUclips part had me jaw drop and dying of laughter. You told this story with such great creativity and story telling. If they make an actual movie of this THEY NEED YOU
I appreciate it bro 👊🫡
What a great ending and we start to see the solid snake that most people meet in MGS1. Cannot wait for your take on Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake. Well deserved and excellent work my man
Yeah exactly he’s very reserved and jaded in mgs1, after experiencing mg1 and mg2 you start to see why!
Bro the last scene put me in tears you sure know how to make a grown man cry 🥺😭
And that's no lie😢
Was a perfect send off from Venom Snake, having Quiet’s spirit reunite with him & bring him into the afterlife. Rest Easy Venom Snake & Quiet 🙏
The Sahelanthropus roar during TX-55's destruction are actually accurate
Because Venom Snake when he recovered Sahelanthropus Piece by piece during his battle with Eli on fly island he used Sahelanthropus's necessary remains to make Metal Gear TX-55
I like that theory! connects perfectly.
@@TheLoresmith well i appreciate your approval
What an emotional ending. This is the greatest metal gear remake I've ever seen you gave so much tension and suspense i can't put in all in words I'll i can say is you did an amazing job on this and can't wait for metal gear 2.
I appreciate you watching bro 👊
@@TheLoresmith thank you for making this project 😁
Respect. Thats all my mind can come up with to praise your hard work.
Glad i could experience the first metal gear game this way

Thanks for creating this mini-series. I liked the voice you gave Diana, and the epilogue that wrapped things up in a nice way for Venom Snake. See you again for the next project.
I was just trying to watch some Coffee House Crime and saw this episode in my feed.
I never knew anything like this existed. As a channel of my own that focuses on experimental creativity, the effort and time you've put into this masterful storytelling experience based on my ALL-TIME favorite gaming series really set the bar on RUclips content and the sheer quality of it.
This is, by far, the most mesmerizing, most influential piece of fandom I've ever come across. You've truly made a fan out of me and inspired me on a whole brand new level of creativity. So many questions come to mind on how long this journey took you, if you ever had moments of mental breaks and shifts when it comes to glueing everything together to craft such a masterpiece.
The emotion of the story, the gripping tale of the naive Snake versus the phantom of an ideal.
I'm entralled.
You've earned a sub and support from me. I'm looking forward to your content. Thank you for bringing this experience to life and putting your talents and efforts into use. I can truly see this was only the beginning.
One of the most incredible things I ever watched on youtube. Well done.
The quality of this whole series has just been *chefs kiss*
I don't know or even care what topic you'll cover next, I just know that it'll be more than worth the watch whatever it is.
This is literally magic. You literally put on video form what I imagined in my head when I imagined MG 1 with the MGS style of storytelling. When I watch these videos i literaly revert back into being a child. Thank you so much for doing this, this video series is invaluable for any MGS fan and mandatory for those that want to get into Metal Gear Solid. I am gitty with excitement to see you adapt MG2 SS now.
🙏🙏thank you. On to mg2! a lot of work to be done, it’s a much bigger game than 1! 🤯
Really enjoyed this. Your story telling was great, even filling gaps between the parts of the original story. Can't wait to see what you do next 👏👏👏

Damn... you surely kept us waiting, huh...
I love that they added this song to the end credits of the video i got this song on my video game soundtrack playlist
I *KNEW* this would be a bittersweet W finishing this mission of Outer Heaven, but *DAMMNNNN* this was intense......
And then if my memory serves right, they put Snake in Prison shortly after this for the next 4 years, which will lead to him meeting Col. Campbell & being recruited for the Zanzibar land mission & that whole fiasco...
But yeah, I got to process this for a minute, GR8 job, I *CAN'T* wait for MG2 but like I said, we *CANNOT* rush greatness 👍🏿🫡
Outstanding. Enjoy the well-merited accolades. I look forward to seeing you again in Zanzibar.
You put the narrative together better than kojima did. Well done! Yall are...pretty good.😏
Great series, this had me hooked, instant sub.
Someone had to do it and you did fantastically, the art style, dialogues, use of soundtracks, top notch.
keep going dude, cannot wait for MG2 !

Ah that hits hard… I can’t describe it.😢
As an MGS fan and having played all of the games and knowing the story, this was probably the best story telling i have ever seen, well done, I cannot wait for the next one, very very good job!!!
Holy CRAP this series is so good! And that epilogue you made!? 🤯. Can NOT wait for more.
As someone who’s been waiting for a proper Metal Gear remake for decades now, thank you so much for this! 🫡
Oh sh**, this is the moment we've all been waiting for!!!!
Thanks man, appreciate the kind words, it’s not a perfect project but I think it came out okay in the end! 😂
@@TheLoresmith not perfect that's for sure, but that was really fun to watch
One idea I had for the ending:
It’d be cool for it to mirror some aspects of MGS3. Solid Snake approaches Venom’s broken body, and Venom encourages him to kill him because “one must die and one must live,” a recreation of Big Boss and The Boss.
But unlike his “father,” Solid refuses to shoot, saying “The world would be a better place if people could just put the gun down.”
Venom then speaks. He doesn’t fully reveal his identity of course, but somewhat confesses it, saying he used to be one of MSF’s top medics, that he had dreams of eventually retiring from military life altogether to become a civilian doctor, but then he “got roped into all this bs.”
Solid ponders this slight revelation, never knowing “Big Boss” was a medic at one point, but is forced to flee when the Metal Gear hangar starts collapsing.
Then when he starts the long ladder climb to the surface, “Here’s To You” plays.
Saying he got "roped into all that bs" implies venom snake didn't believe in big boss, but he was loyal to the end.
@@morsecode980 interesting 🤔 I haven't heard of that one yet. What official evidence leads people to think that?
Dude this is such good work putting the all the media pieces to make a awesome piece of narrative.
Awesome work! Loved every episode. I hope one day you'll do the next game!

Its going to be insane when ai is advanced enough to have the still frames animated in motion were pretty much going to have a legit animated mgs series. The writing in this was awesome hearing kiefer and hayters voice confronting eachother
This video was simply marvelous and brought tears to my eyes cause of taking an old story and bringing it to life too bad during my childhood I didn’t have that game on pc I’d probably never would of put it down for sure! But however I had the blessing chance to play metal gear 2 on Nintendo entertainment system in the 80s and can’t wait til you bring that series to life! master class in story telling and adaptation. can't wait for more
I just discovered this channel andl ove it already. I hope to see more classic retro games getting "remade" like this.
I know this may sound wierd but i do hope to see remakes of the 3D Metal Gear games too, including the spin offs and non-canon games (like Metal Gear Acid lol) mainly because I mean if RE4 can get a remake and have a new re-imagined story behind it but still keep the core parts of it intact; it would be amazing to see how remakes of other games in the future go.
Of course not just Metal Gear but other series too.
Loved the series. appreciate what you made
"A Hero Forever Loyal To The Flames of War Rests In Outer Heaven" R.I.P Venom Snake. all I have to say is this was a masterpiece and I love what you did with venom having a speech to solid about losing everything and telling him what do you fight for oh man that made me cry you did Venom Snake Justice and I love the end of the last days of OUTER HEAVEN 💀 truly a beautiful way to end it I can't wait for Metal Gear 2 Solid Snake you sir are outstanding 🤘
Venom Snake’s final hurrah! 😢🫡 💀loyal to the end
The history and ultimate fate of Venom Snake is really gut-wrenching bruh. Not even remembered by anyone after Big Boss later passes at the end of MGS4.
I personally like to think someone may have saved and/or discovered those audio tapes from Ground Zeroes and MGSV. Hal Emmerich, Raiden, etc. Though I could certainly see Ocelot having backed up and exposed them to the public and key figures before his own despise. One last screw over to those covering it up lol.
Did big boss really care for his soldiers in the end? After what he did to venom 🤔 because I mean that’s messed up, you’re right, no one’s gonna remember the phantom of big boss.
