It was pretty up and down IMO, some good and some bad. A lot of people will say it was unfocused and wasn't building to anything but I don't agree with that statement as much as others. Sure it wasn't super focused, but they did tease Kang a good bit as the main big bad and introduced the idea of the multiverse. As for people saying it's woke, the only woke movie/TV show they put out was She-Hulk. I still have hope that the MCU will improve in Phase 5 and 6. Good vid Mustard
We’ve seen this before with other big franchises. After a largely successful era or period (in this case from 2008-2019)there seems to be a bit of a slump in terms of critical reception and imo that should’ve been expected. During the late 80s and most of the 90s Disney animation went through a period called the “Disney renaissance” where they were putting out hit after hit with little mermaid, beauty and the beast, Aladdin, lion king, etc. after they went through a transitional period where they switched technological and artistic styles and they struggled for much of the 2000s decade. Like you said, the mcu just concluded a long running 11 year story and are basically restarting. I think they’ll be alright
It's mainly that the majority of the people hating were just there for Phase 3, or joined during Phase 3 so when Phase 4 is a small step down and having to deal with Endgame and getting everything setup for Phase 6 they started saying dumb stuff like "the MCU is dying" since there expection was that Phase 4 was going to take a huge step forward and destroy Phase 3
I just don’t don’t understand the hate torwards moon knight in my opinion the story with moon knight is so unique and his other egos taking over and his back story is so eye catching now I will admit some parts was boring but the flag towards it is crazy i recommend keep watching but it’s just my opinion.
You know what gets me people will give shows like Hawkeye and ms marvel a bad rap because they didn't have world ending stakes but they like moonknight and werewolf by night which have zero stakes or connection to the overall story they've been telling us 😂 marvel fans are just about as bad as star wars fans
I really dont mind how each show and movie is connected. thats how it was before end game. what i hate about the MCU phase 4 is that its too woke. too on the nose when it comes to identity politics. like seriously? a female task master, doctor strange being a second fiddle to america chavez, falcon and the winter soldier being too much about race, hawk eye with jeremy renner being a supporting actor to a mary sue, a himbo thor, reeree williams trying so hard to replace tony stark (that cornrows on the helmet was too cringe), and the worst of them all, a she-hulk who believes she is a better hulk than bruce banner just because she is a woman. there are other meh shows as well like moon knight and loki and forgettable like ms marvel. the MCU died with tony stark and was on life support with spider man no way home.
Phase 4 wasn't bad it was horrible. It's like everything is individual and nothing is connected. She hulk is the worst thing Marvel has put out. There were some good things like Shang chi it was a good introduction movie but that's the problem it has nothing to do with the other movies or shows, in the phase 1 Nick Fury made sure everything was connected but rn looks like there's no connection and on top of that the individual content is not that good
"t's like everything is individual and nothing is connected" so what would you rather have? Because one major criticism of something like MoM was apparently needing to watch all these other projects to understand the plot. Not everything needs to be connected and strictly tied in, if anything giving the movies/shows individuality is better bc of NOT needing to carry a lot of baggage
Cant wait to see how this channel turns out Mustard!!
Thor love and thunder was the biggest letdown marvel has ever produced

Namor was actually one of the worst MCU vilains! I'd take Killmonger any day of the week over him!
Wtf bro I love moon knight it’s the second best marvel show
🫴🏼

You’re not going to go over how you said BP2 was better than the first #recastTchalla
Unpopular opinion I think Shang chi was the best phase 4 movie….

Eternals is a near Top 10 in the MCU
phase 4 is so mid to bad
Love you mustard but keep my wife Hailee Steinfeld name out ya mouth
Love and Thunder wasn’t bad bro, the only reason people didn’t like it is cuz Gorr was a shitty villain let’s be honest
it wasn't bad, it was horrible...just a pathetic waste of space and time
I personally enjoyed eternals and moon knight
Stick to ball my guy
