In Russian book this piece called "Сладкая грeза", which mean more of a day dream. Sweet day dream. Very relaxed state of mind where you can control your own imagination. Possibilities are endless. As a kid, I remember this name would always make me smile, as I thought to my self: " Finally! Now I can play what I want. It will be my own personal day dreaming :), It was so satisfying after a long day at school "
There is noone on earth explaining sadness so beautyful that you want to be sad .... as I said so often: Lang Lang you are a gift to the world. Stay happy and healthy 😍😘
Hes the best out there. Shame on Volodos he...idk what hes doing but it looks like hes done with it, sadly. :( These 2 geniuses, are the best pianists/musicians alive for me, without a doubt and nobody else cames even close. I feel privileged to have lived contemporary with them.
Lang Lang always get, that I emotionate with his piano sound... When he has started to play the piano, I really felt inside the Tchaikovsky piece, and he only play a little part of Sweet Dream, also, I like the way of explain that he has, he has introduced us to Tchaikovsky, his explication is short but in few words he says all the necesary. Lang Lang, your music is fantastic!! Thank you to inspire to all musicians or not musicians in the world of music!!🎹🎹🎵🎶
I agree, Tchaikovsky's long melodic lines is really in its own class. So openly heart-breaking and yet close to a hopeful resolution. Like Schubert but Russian.
You are just awesome,,,,! Explaining how to play this lovely piece. Thankyou. But still wouldn't have your delicacy, or sound anything like you, do, I will just listen and enjoy you Maestro. Xxx
It's very good I'll try this piece sir...Maybe you do this more sir because it is like a Master Class and I always love listening to a masterful insight. Bravo! Bravo! From the Philippines!!
This is called "June" (Barcarolle), the sixth piece from "The seasons" op. 37. Tchaikovsky was comissioned to compose a piece each month for the readers of a magazine that was published once a month during one year, so there are 12 pieces in total.
