@@mark-1rc502 it's more for people that want the ease of the Bose system, it's plug and play and made to sound ok together with their line arrays has the benefit of having inbuilt protection so you can't blow them up, ofcourse there are QSC etc speakers with that and even cheaper brands like Thomann has their PA speakers in Europe, i'd definitely buy theirs over the expensive Bose stuff the Bose are not quite for big dj sets or something like that but are plenty loud in most cases in my country live musicians still use the Bose L1 Model 2 with one or 2 B1 modules (2 5.25" woofers each that actually get impressively loud and down to about 40Hz) it's loud enough to the point it's annoying to talk to other people around you and you have to shout it's actually more than enough for a live event for 100+ people.. in open air on a small city square, so i can't imagine what these new subs etc do compared to them

Dude! This is not how you use the sub. With all that power you should have your volume on 1 to 1.5 using an audio mixer. Patch your iphone into the mixer and then mixer out to sub in. whatta waste.
