Talk about impressive. Even I can't believe it as well. But I've been in several long road trips all the way back home. Once even been on a 16 hour drive from Las Vegas to get back home in 2017. Then 2 years later in 2019 went on another long stint and got home. Although not without getting pulled over for speeding. My Uncle was driving his Ford F-150 which is a 2013 model believe it or not both times. And I'm looking to go on another road trip sometime soon. Not sure when or where we'll go but I hope I get to go someplace I never been.

Honestly one of the best things to put on the back of the raptor would be a roller shutter. The’re perfect for when you don’t want a hard top nor a canopy and they look sexy af. My dad has one with a great wall, same colour.

I took a trip up that way from Port Lavaca Texas to Yakima a year ago with my son to pick up his Mustang GT with timing chain issues. We drove a U-HAUL pick-up and pulled an empty auto-transport trailer all the way up there. Almost slipped off the road going up the mountains past Ontario, Oregon in the snow. To stay out of more bad weather we returned by crossing the river into Oregon and made our way to Portland and on down to Bakersfield to Bartstow to Palm Springs and back to Texas on I-10. Total round-trip mileage was just over 4200. The UHAUL was a Chevy and it did great; but I'm still a Ford guy. I've always loved Raptors. Right now I am still driving my old '02 F-150 with just over 205,000 miles on it. It's NEVER left me stranded since I bought it in 2008.

Should have stopped at one of the truck stops on the way up to get a tarp and bungie cords to keep the stuff dry. As for a bedcover it depends what you want. They make soft top or hard ones. The Hard ones generally give full bed access but you cant put tall things in it. You need a train horn in that thing lol

Nice truck. You should put a smooth, black Diamondback HD bed cover on it. It would not just be functional in so many ways, but it would look freakin awesome on that truck! So, how do you think that Raptor drive would be west coast to east coast, a lot longer drive than the 12 you drove? It's probably a 45 or 50 hour drive if done straight thru, give or take. How smooth, quiet, comfortable, what kind of average mpg, other? Thanks. Oh, and if you don't mind an observation, that healthy pink donut diet you all have, looks tasty, but kinda goes with that horn. Lol
