I really enjoyed your video brother. I have a bunch of videos on my Morgan’s and my self have a full set and another partial set. The 1903o was one of the last 5 coins for me to get. Including 85cc, 1894, and last was the 93s. I would like to see more videos like this I love the story telling and history that each coin has. Thanks
Enjoyed the video but I am probably one of the few collectors who think many dates for Morgan Dollars are overpriced. Not the best coin to acquire solely for investment but it is an interesting series.
Most of the silver bullion resulting from the Pittman Act melt were sent to Great Britain to stabilize their finances as WWI was raging. The U.S. was the only country in the world that could come up with that much silver that quickly.
For me personally the condition is far more important than the year or mintage. I do own a really nice MS 1921 Morgan, but I have a strong preference for Peace dollars so every other dollar coin I own are either 1922 or 23.
Excellent. I've been wondering about this topic!!!! Thanks for sharing this info about the Morgan hoard.
Thank you
You're welcome! Hope you come back for more.
Very well put together video. Thank you! Looking forward to more!
Yes, you bet, I plan to produce more videos. Thank you for subscribing!

270 million morgan silver dollars melted down for silver bars sent to England .but before 1921.

Maybe many of those 1903 coins were melted down.
That was the speculation of many, but no one knew at that time thousands of 1903-O dollars were hiding in Treasury vaults.

It's hard to beat an uncirculated vintage coin, that's for sure!
Then again a few million I was told eisenhower 40 percent silver dollars melted down in 1980s.they were all S mint.
