Locke would be appalled by present day political discourse in America, and disheartened by the authoritarian voices that now dominate certain political factions.
I am going to order these treatises and read them. I was always under the impression that Locke was a minarchist and believed in a strong curtailing of state authority. I don't think he would approve of a world governing body where there is no where to run for the oppressed.
I liked the way the information was presented and backed up by evidence and I want to see more people thinking about the point of view that Locke had when talking about the how the Government should be for the people and nothing else.
So helpful. Godbless the Organization and the speaker. Thank you.
