hearing about the chinchilla’s who bully the bunnies reminded me of my sisters bunny who passed away a few weeks ago who used to bully our dog who just wanted to be friends with her. they have teamed up to get into some mischief though 😂
Like this vid! Highly recommend this channel! Going to try too teach my friend that might get a bun! And go Holland lops! (And all other buns) just got my bunny’s fixed, Spayed/neutered and now they go on my lap and like my face so that could be a coincidence or surgery making them calmer.
I've been using those panels and they're pretty durable and easy to clean! I have two hollands and no scratchs in there :) and you only use conectors to fit the panels however you want.

It’s the one vid that doesn’t have these, but apparently the baby stacking cups are brilliant if you put a treat into each cup ( a few small oats) and then stack these - the bunnies love to pull these apart to find the treats. ( or throw them and find them, I should say...lol) thanks for another wonderful video.

We are currently using the plastic pen for our dwarf for a year now and it has been a great pen for her. No escapes or chew throughs so we are very happy with it.

I am using the same panelpen as Mylie and they are not recommendable for Bunnies that like to chew or if you have small children running about that are rather rambunctious, the Panels tend to Bend or break rather easily, but they are cheap.
The Plexi clear plastic kind didn't work for my Bunny!.. He would just scratch at it like digging.. My Thumper is now free roaming!..Best way ever!..Mine is fixed.. :)
Where do you get the clear critter keeper. I bought those black shelving ones that snap together as it divides the room and the rabbits chew on the PAINT in between the bars. Very bummed. I swap the cubical that has PAINT nicked off for new one but it still is not good:(
Ya they really are. I also use them for my guinea pigs and my hamsters playpen! They have worked well for all of them! And they are only $50 for like 30 grids! They also look very appealing!❤️

Hmm, I'm not sure what you mean, Julie. Are you asking how to find a particular rabbit breed to purchase and have it shipped to you via air? There are some breeders in the US that offer this. You might try searching on Hoobly or checking local shelters.
There are several reasons I prefer Sherwood to Modesto. First, if you have any questions, Sherwood (and often David Sherwood, a biologist) will respond - and they also have vet techs on staff. Second, Modesto adds a fermented mold product to their food, and when I questioned this, they didn't have any science to back up the reasoning. Third, when trying their food, I found it crumbly and therefore wasted a lot. The cost is about the same as Sherwood, so I prefer to stick with this.

Actually, we really shouldn't assume that, as there are pellets formulated to be fed freely, such as Sherwood's Adult Complete formula. It highly depends on the ingredients and timothy hay/alfalfa/vitamin content.
Considering That pellets should be about 5% of their overall diet im Pretty sure That rabbit eats a lot of hay. But they May be rich in good ingrediens and The diet changes from rabbit to rabbit so your probably right about That. 😄🐇
My bunny is acting overheated but the only thing I did was try clipping her claws a hour ago. She has Hot Ears and is gadfly breathing. Sorry I’m such a bother!
Hey Diane! I love your videos and I wanted to ask you a question about rabbits... after your female rabbits have a litter, do you notice any difference in their personality for a little while? I’m wondering as I recently adopted a rabbit who had a litter a couple of months ago and she seems like she hates humans! She loves our male rabbit... but doesn’t seem to like to be touched at all by us :(
I would say the grumpiness is usually more the few weeks prior to delivery, though some females are still a bit territorial and protective while caring for a litter. I would give her a few weeks for her hormones to balance and for her to grow accustomed to her new environment. Giving her a few treats and head rubs is good bribery too. :)

I don't know how much of an expert you are on rabbits because I only watched part of this video and I know nothing of your knowledge on chinchillas. But I thought you should know that keeping buns and chins together is a big no no. Rabbits do carry a parasite that will kill your chinchillas very quickly if they get it. I know if you're being careful it should be fine but you shouldn't keep them together or handle them without washing your hands in-between. Everyone is constantly learning and I think you should take this into deep consideration. If you can find a vet that specializes in chinchillas and rabbits I'm sure they would say the same. It is better to be 100% safe.
I agree. I keep my bun and chins in the same room. With this knowledge tho, I do keep it very clean and sweep and scrub after the bun is out. It's a bit more work but works out in the end and everyone gets their exercise.
