Consistently voted the "Best Steel Coaster in the World," Millennium Force broke TEN world records when it opened in 2000.
Riders climb the 310-foot-tall lift hill smoothly and quickly and dive towards the earth at an 80-degree angle at speeds of 93 mph! It's all speed and airtime as Millennium Force hugs the ground, climbs onto an island and twists and turns as it flies towards the station.

I can honestly say that Millenium Force is the best roller coaster I will ever go on. Period. I don't care about the future of coasters. This one is absolutely amazing.
I am a person that "was" scared of heights and this was my first roller coaster. As it went up 310 feet, it felt like it was 30 seconds long and as it came down you can't even think about how high it is. All you think abt is OMGGGGG, but I agree once 1st hill is done its nothing. It was amazingly wicked sweet
Love this ride. I almost had a nervous breakdown waiting in line to ride it for the first time, but right after we got off, we rode it twice more. :)
Greatest first dip ever -- then, it kinda flattens out.

I just went on the Millenion Force today for a school trip...It was my first rollercoaster but I have to say, even though it was the scariest experience of my life, it was also the best.
This ride is so awesome. I was at Cedar Point a couple of days ago, and because it was rainy off and on, there were hardly any people there. At the end of the night I was able to ride this 6 times in a row without any wait.
Yes, Cedar Point started what is known as the "coaster wars" back in 1989 when the Magnum XL 200 was build. It was the first coaster to break the 200 foot mark. This ride shattered every record known when it was build and is still to this day one of the tallest, fastest, and longest coasters on earth.
I love this ride rode it ten or more times. First drop feels like you jumped off a skyscraper and your insides feels like it's going up your throat. Very few people put their hands up on that drop!
we were on our way up that 1st lift and i was in the very front with my sister. a friend was sitting right behind us and about 2/3's of the way up said "what are we doing here?". What a great ride. you just get higher and higher and you look ahead and there's still track in front of you before the 1st drop.
When I went to Cedar Point we got on it just after sunset, and it started raining as soon as we were seated (front row of course). They decided to let us have the last ride of the night. As soon as we hit the first drop the pain started.When you are hitting rain at 90 mph it hurts! I was screaming the whole way, and I felt rain go into my mouth and it was crunchy. When we got of I realized it was the bugs flying around the lights that were crunchy. That still was the best ride of my life, lol!
I really love this ride, I would like to have it close to my home so I can ride it every day.

Probably my favourite coaster. TTD and Kingda ka are great and all but I just love coasters with a lift hill that are really high. Just the feeling of slowly being lifted higher and higher while you can't do anything, just sitting there to eventually drop down with a mindblowing speed is was I really like
I was just there two days ago. The park was pretty dead and I was able to get on this over and over especially at night when almost everyone had left. It was great!
I rode this ride twice and at no point do you feel like your life is in danger. It is very smooth, very solid, and you never get too close to anything. Now... The Beast in Cincinnati scares me more and more the older I get. It is a ricketty old woody that whips you through the trees and has some tunnels that you can EASILY hit your hands on.
I remember going on this beast for the first time. It kept on going up and up and up, and then it finally got to the top, and you're like, WTF HAVE I GOT MYSELF INTO! And then the rest is heaven.
Great job on this film. I don't know how you did it, but it is perfectly still, not shakes whatsoever.

No thrill ride experience, even the Dragster, can compare to the one you have on Millennium Force. This is far and away the greatest ride I have ever been on.
And yeah, it's 90MPH people!
I rode this ride today for the first time. I did this and the dragster. The anticipation of going up the hill and the drop is very very intense!
I can't wait to ride this again. That first hill terrified me the first time I rode it but now it is my favorite coaster =D
Travelled over from England to ride this coaster back in 2003, it makes Blackpools Big One look like a little kids ride....!!!!
I had to shut my eyes for the whole lift. I'm so so glad that it wasnt a traditional chain lift that takes forever!

I remember riding this when I was like 10 and screaming my head off all the way down. It was insane and TOTALLY worth it. I would love to go on it again.
Millennium Force will not and forever be one of the most legendary coasters in history.

My wife and I are going to Cedar Point on Tuesday for our annual summer trip Aug 31st . Then we plan on going back around Halloween for Halloweekends it has become a yearly tradition with us

Agreed! The POV vids are great but so many people fail to realize the danger they put their fellow riders in as well as spectators on the ground below if their camera should slip loose. It can cause severe injury or even death when a video camera comes at your head at 90+ mph.

my favorite coaster. so graceful in it's insane speed and height. this is better than top thrill.
The first time I rode this ride I was 7 years old. My dad convinced me somehow to get in the cart. I wouldn't speak to him the rest of the day when I got off. Finally ice cream got me talking.
watch the vids for a while then u get the exitement and the feeling of all the loops and stuff in ur house

Clearly the video was taken from a cam placed on the ride itself...not by someone actually riding it. See how steady the thing is? Anyone that has ridden it would know this...and do you hear anyone screaming? This ride is AWESOME, it will take your breath away every time. It is at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio...America's Roller Coast. Great place to go...and with everything they have there now, you better plan on spending the weekend. I highly recommend Halloweekends. :)

I'm going to Cedar Point hopefully soon. That ride looks pretty cool- I like how fast it goes up the hill, and there is probably lots of airtime. It looks like Superman at SFNE but in a bigger size.
Poor cameraman. He must have been holding his breath throughout the entire ride for not screaming! Very steady video though, awesome!

Going up that first hill, the one thing going through my head is "Why am I doing this?"
And then the ride is over and I want to do it again.
I live in Georgia, but I will never ride Deja Vu! That is probably one of the very, very few roller coasters I will admit to being too afraid to ride...and it has nothing to do with the design, speed, or height! That ride just breaks down so much that I'm afraid it's going to fall apart if I ride it...x.x;
I've ridden Millennium Force, though! It was years ago; it had broken down right before I got on it, too. I was horrified, but I can't say that it wasn't fun...XP
Dragster was sick, but this coaster was by far my favorite at cedar point
we've been to that park. the ride looks scarier in person, but it was broken down the day we wnet. the only thing you have is a lap bar, and the drop is almost verticle. sounds fun!
it's by far the best ride in the park...i would ride it all day!

ive been on that and i saw Canada..and the ride is so freaking awesone,its like a two-hour wait though..lol
actually a few months after it debuted another coaster beat that coaster, both in top speed and height and it is called Steel Dragon 2000 it is 318 feet tall and it tops out at 97 mph.
its very smooth looking! thats one thing that makes it look cool!
If you think this coaster looks fast, try looking at a video of the Dragster at the same location. That one goes from 0 to 120mph within a few seconds and the entire ride takes only 20 seconds because it's so fast.
This is my 2nd favorite ride. I think going up the hill is the worst part. Now I know what they ment in Star Wars when they say "may the force be with you".

Yeah, it's true, you can see Canada from the very top, the small plot of land on the hill to the right hand corner of the top is northern canada.
you maybe right about that, there are no leaves on the trees... Cedar Point closes down during the winter and that is also when they build there coasters.

Ride it!!! I'm 12 and have a big fear of heights. I nearly peed my pants on the way up, but once you start the drop it's awesome!

It was recorded with a mounted camera, shot during the off-season.
I would have laughed if the camera went off in the tunnel. "Look at my face, mommy!"
last time i rode this it broke down 3 times while i was in line and it was like.. 90 degrees. i was like sweating to death and i was in line for 3 hours!! every time my hair touched my body it was stuck since i was sweating so much. this ride is worth it though and on the first drop you black out because of the g's. you still live though and its pretty cool. you dont faint, everything is just black until you reach the bottom.

@blackgeco01: I went to Cedar Point 2 years ago when we went to visit my older brother, NEVER rode a coaster until then, started off on the Raptor as my first and Millennium Force was the second coaster I hopped on right after.
So you'll love it once you go for a ride on it. It's awesome. Sadly I can't go ride it each summer being in NY and all. x.x

Indeed. We Europeans are missing a top-thrill-Coaster like KingdaKa - but the Expedition Geforce in Germany has won the Internet Coaster Poll a lot of times since its been built a few years ago.
So gimme the money for a flight to New Jersey and ill kick the ass of Kingda Ka ;)
@legp2787 You dont hear any screaming because this is a promotional video filmed by the park. There's hardly any shaking because the camera is attached to the front car of the ride. Most parks do this to entice people to ride.

I really do love this ride and I know it was, at one point, the tallest/fastest roller coaster in the world...but I still prefer Magnum XL to this one. Magnum just has a lot more to it, this is just known for it's huge hill and speed. Magnum has more hills and tunnels and all the stuff that makes a coaster great! Cedar Point=#1

Hun, on Final destination 3, the rollercoaster was basically at a carnival. This is at an amusement park and is tested every single morning and inspected, If one little thing is out of place they would not open it. Also this rollercoaster only last about 1 1/2 minutes long. The one on the movie lasted about 10 minutes long! lmao
even i said oh shit just by watching yet whoever was on this ride recording this not a single scream... brave dude -_-
