I love this bottle and have been through a few of them. I have shared it with at least 100 people over the years. We use this bottle a lot in class and have converted many people to drinking it here in Texas. We have also blinded multiple sommeliers with it and universally it has been well enjoyed here. It is the very first whiskey to ever be made in Peru with New Oak only plus he has this wild machine that he shoots into to make the molecules do cool things. The black corn only grows at 10k feet and above sea level in the Andes Mountains. Yes it is malted barely as well in that mash bill. We have had Michael at my house prior for a live stream when he happened to be visiting Texas. He is a super awesome dude. It gets better and better as it drinks down as well. One of my go to whiskies for me personally and also our most viewed whiskey review ever. Cheers
@WhiskyNeighbour my brother & I finally cracked open his birthday (from last year 🤪) bottle of Black & we both immediately became major fans of it. I'll be picking one up, for myself- as well. Cheers Jon & Matt 🥃 ⛰️ 🥃 🌽
Hi Jon, I can’t believe this, but just an hour ago I cracked a bottle of Black Whiskey for the first time. Then happened to flip over to your channel and see you had reviewed it this afternoon! Can’t believe the coincidence. I liked it because it reminds me of my favourite bourbon: Garrison Brothers. Vanilla, oak and liverwurst (never had that tasting note before) were some notes I was getting. Hope you’re enjoying this heat. If you’re looking for something to do this summer, you’re more than welcome over to our place again to shoot another video. Cheers 😎🥃!
I'm glad you have made such a good review of the black whisky, in Peru we generally use the purple corn to make a fresh drink called 'chicha morada' so I'm glad it was finally used to make a good licor. Saludos desde Lima😊
I have never heard of Black whisky! Very interesting thoughts /comparison Jon!! I am currently out on a lovely pre-dinner walk in St. Albert!! Hoping to find some peated scotch tomorrow at Costco!! Cheers!!

@WhiskeyCrusaders well, I can only hope it becomes half that release for me. High praise and I will certainly give it time and many tries!

I hope your search is fruitful!
Thanks Jon! I think the other place I want to look is wine and beyond? I think I have the name correct!
You should be able to find Black, at Wine & Beyond- that's where I found it.
Hey you are amazing!! I’m going to while I visit Edmonton!! Thank you so much!!
