Hey! Don't you mess with my grandma! By the way, how are your grandchildren? OneOdio, todavía te odio. Yes! Even if they cost less than a hundred bucks! There's some guy out there claiming that these Open Heart cheap headphones sound better than the Grados SR whatever. Have you heard of them?
Hi Veronica! I'll mess with whoever I want. Even your Gramma. 🤣😂Nah, but most headphones are better than Grado LMAOO. Grandchildren are enjoying some time away at the park with their Grandma and her flabby tricep. 🙂
@@HomeStudioBasics look, you can mess with my grandma but I must warn you: she'll slap you in the face with her flabby triceps and she'll make you redefine the concept of pain. Consider yourself warned.
👉Yes, the thumbnail insane thing was done on purpose. xD. I don't know what happened. Metal Gear. Whatever, Meryl's hot. 👉As far as the CB-1 vs. Monitor 60, truth be told these 2 headphones are so eerily similar that it became hard to ultimately decide which one I thought was most worth a purchase. Both have good but slightly flawed bass, both suffer from the somewhat recessed lower mids, both have that papery quality we discussed, both are built similarly and have almost identical Soundstage/detail, and both are extremely comfortable. I think the Monitor 60 slightly edges it at the end of the day due to what I mentioned in the video about its value. Whatever you do, please bypass the overrated trash M40x. If you're comparing/debating on that vs. these, just don't. Forget about it. Fuggedaboutit. IIIGHT?!
These somehow remind me of my MDR-V700DJ headphones which looked BOSS back in the day with Sony GShock cd player. Was an “audiophile” way back in 99 before I was an audiophile. Setup was BANGIN for middle school road trips in the minivan. “Y'all gon' make me lose my mind Up in here, up in here Y'all gon' make me go all out Up in here, up in here…”
Had to turn on notifications to really see your videos, I can't believe I missed out for the last month. That said, I'll be looking into these as a sort of beater pair for the office, I think my collegues are getting annoyed by my open-backs lmao
Heh. Great to have you back! There are 7 uploads from July. Def go through them if you haven't. :) And keep me posted if you end up getting the Monitor 60!
Hmm, if the K371 is $109 I may opt for those but there's still that bass shelf on the 371 that can be a problem. I think we talked about this through email but the bass shelf is mostly only an issue with certain tracks through the 371. I think overall it's a more balanced headphone for sure. CB-1 and M60 are as close to being identical as it gets.
@@HomeStudioBasics We did, that is why I asked about these. I was just looking for a good, not great headphone that can fold up and travel with. Cheap enough that I won’t give myself a concussion if I lose them and facepalm myself. As far as around $100 closed backs I still am in love with my Drop Hifiman HE-R7DX. Although I don’t have the vast knowledge you have of headphones. If the R7DX folded up, this conversation never happens. How are your grandkids? I don’t have any……that I know of. Ba dum tiisshhh
Yeah for that I would def go 371. It's the perfect travel companion, really. Folds up neat and compact. Won't break the bank. Great sound. HAHA! My Grandkids are good. It's a bit overcast this morning and we plan to go fishing in a bit. XD
Currently have an M40x, and I like them for what they are. Although I occasionally find them boring (yes, yes, they're studio monitors - but still). Also have a HE400SE which i love - especially since i got them for only $70. Considering whether I should sell my M40x and get the OneOdio Monitor 60 AND Monitor 80. I can get them for only $50 each. Any thoughts? 😅
Lol, I was messin' with some guy at the gym and I'm like dude on a scale of 1-10 how sexy am I? And he's like dude, FIFTY. SHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEIIIIIITTTTT

You should compare it to the k361 which is around the same price.
@@hy7968 Nice idea! Are the K371 and 361 different? I have only heard Metal's K371.
@@HomeStudioBasics I think the k371 just has better build and a warmer tonality.
here in the Philippines its 50$ so its a steal no ?
Yeah I'd pounce!
That 3.5mm - 1/4” cable and cup functionality is actually kinda genius.
CHEA BOII!! How's your bike, brah?

LOL that song. I was more partial to Flesh of My Flesh from '98

Any chance you'll be reviewing the hifiman ananda stealth edition, hifiman edition xs and the sundara's closed back? Kinda curious about those
Hey man! Yeah, XS is on its way and will be comparing to Arya and Ananda. Will look into the Closed Sundara!
@@HomeStudioBasics hell yea man , excited to hear your impressions!!!
hey man your music in your videos reminds me of the Baby Buddah Heads album from the 90s, you ever hear that? Keep up the good work bro~!
Aight!!! What separates these or the CB-1 from something like the AKG K371($109 at Amazon currently)?

The Oneodio Monitor 80 are good if you like a warm Headphone Especially if you swap the Monitor 60 earpads
What is Yours top 10 headphones?
Nothing can top the $35 Dora the Explorer headphone from Target. Puts the $6K Hifiman Susvara to shame
Great video idea! I don't know. That's a tough question. I'd have to think about it.
I bet your Grandchildren would love a pair of Monitor 60
Lol AND DON'T YOU FORGET IT!!
Grandma's arm fat! That's my wife your talking about, boyie. 💪
hmm...
How are those grandbabies, Stuart?

No man. i have 560s. that is enough for me.
Monitor 80 is compelling at $90. No theme review had a nice review.
I think they're sending that one next. I was pleasantly surprised by the Monitor 60 for sure.
Wait you have grandchildren?? how are your grandchildren??
