    The saying, takes money to make money, holds true, because it takes at least $10k in stocks/ETF to achieve a decent monthly dividend.

    • @dantedlane2
      @dantedlane2 Год назад +1

      Thats true at 5000$ you can’t start spending dividends you earned on other dividends ,at 10,000 you can do a lot maybe get 300$ a month

      @@Scott-got-caught arr is doing 10cent dividend at 4.89$ times that by 2000 that’s like 9000 something 10 cent times 2000 is 200$ that’s monthly dividends that means 2400 by the end of each year if your not reinvesting it

    My favorite monthly ETF's are JEPI and AMZA. Can you do a video on AMZA or PBA? AMZA's next ex dividend date is Tuesday, February 21, 2023 payable February 27, 2023. It does not pay a dividend in November and December.

    I wish Webull would implement DRIP. Annoying I can’t have it automatically done.

    • @deyemeracing8795
      @deyemeracing8795 Год назад

      Auto DRIPping directly into the product that produced the dividend isn't the right direction to go. You need to create a spreadsheet with the raw dividend output (the actual "annual income per share-dollar") and then a composite value, which combines that with how much the product is up or down in your portfolio. So when you earn a dollar, you don't (necessarily) put it into what made the dollar, but into what needs to most upward adjustment based on comparing the composite values of everything in your portfolio.

    When buying the ETF, can we agree to buy the dividend back into the ETF? In other words, I think it would be tax advantageous if we can buy ETF shares again before the dividend payment is credited to our account.

      @@BobSharpe indeed. Thanks for responding. By the way are you still doing shib? I actually got out and invested in XRP instead. You should do your research on Ripple and what they are planning on doing and how they will use XRP to replace the SWIFT. You don’t have to make a video on it. But definitely research XRP and ripple. Lawsuit case will be settled soon.

    JEPI is an interesting one that I own. As far as other dividend I tent to not do funds (I really liked how JEPI was set up so that is really my only fund)... There are some really interesting energy jrs that pay monthy dividends where if oil is flat - the stock is flat - but still getting paid... but if oil explodes again ill be able to ride that up as well. It really depends on what you are trying to do.,

    Tesla according to SoFi is tied to Bitcoin. Is part of Tesla pumping at indirect result of Bitcoin itself pumping? There needs to be other factors besides Bitcoin that causes Tesla to dive high, dive down. Last year, Tesla dropped in value partially due to Tesla factories dealing with some delays in producing enough electric vehicles. I’ve invested in Tesla before but I think I’ll wait when Tesla dials down again.

    A 0.45% expense ratio gives 45 dollar cost not 4.5

    • @BobSharpe
      @BobSharpe  Год назад

      That would be if the expense ratio is 4.5%. In order to calculate this, you'd take the $1,000 x 0.45%. You have to convert the percentage (0.45%) into a decimal in order to multiply, so in this case it would be $1,000 x 0.0045 = $4.50.
