The Rolex Day-Date Oysterquartz is one of the few Rolex models equipped with a quartz movement. The timepiece made its debut in 1977 and remained in the Genevan luxury watch manufacturer's catalog until the early 2000s. For the most part, Rolex employed the same dial design and bezel as the mechanical Day-Date.
Oh cool, I have never actually seen one
“Fully wound” is like this channels catch phrase
@@nate-otero some videos it is. When buying watch lots this is common
Lol, yah, and "doesn't run" or equivalent😂
@@ryanorionwotanson4568 hahaha thanks
Omg this is so cool! Whenever I see something like Elgin, Bulova I get so excited lolol

@@Jonesydawg thanks so much
I would be surprised old box's containers and packages and alot that you call junk still sells online. Set them on a multi list auction.
Thanks I will do that
I'm sure you will get your money back just selling off the watches for parts. What an interesting box!!! Thanks for sharing this. It was fascinating!
Thanks so much. I’m glad you liked it
Hey Ingot a s””@ load of lorus quartz’s vintsge moments. Just no case or Back got a bunch of older pocket watch movements as well as vintage omega movements as well as maybe one there first dials still need a push waterproof crown and winding stem for a sellita sw500 or a eta 1750 winding stem or valjou
@@sirsmokealot9113 oh cool. I’m still looking for those
Guess its all worth something to the right person ..nice vid.
Thanks so much
Remember to scrap and recycle the pure junk
I do
Bro, you got to grow up and go look beyond timex and bulova. There were some really nice watch movements in that box. That might sell for hundreds of dollars in the watch collectors community.. so check the movements properly
Ok thanks. I have looked up a lot of them. And now I do sell a lot of movements
I think some of those parts may be worth more than you think
Thanks which ones specifically?
@vintagesterlingfinds the actual parts that are nos. The balance staffs, mainspring, etc. Some of it tells you exactly what it is so you can list them easily.
@@thomasflynn5366 kk will do
Bro. I offered him 100 and he said he'd been offered 110 LOL. I told him Id come that day for the 100 if he wanted and he never got back to me. BTW two of the other 100 he'd been offered were from me from alternate emails.
Hahahaha I literally told him I would pick it up right then and there. I think I did ok, not great
@@vintagesterlingfindsWhat brand was that silver LED watch?
@@HesAPooka no brand name. It’s not one of the bulova ones
Ouuu that's sneaky. That's the one I wanted from the lot.
@@HesAPooka hahaha that’s what I thought. Also it was missing the insides. It’s in quite bad shape
What a load of crap you been had mate.....
