- We sail away from the disaster "bowling alley" anchorage of Key West! We're full of provisions and conditions are PERFECT so we hoist the kite and show our new crew Taylor the ropes, quite literally. After 12 amazing hours of downwind sailing bliss we arrive back in the Dry Tortugas where we'll wait for a weather window to make the 300 mile crossing to Mexico. We whip up some drinks, grab the slack line, and head into the beach for a well earned afternoon of sundowners and laughs with friends.

Refreshing to see Taylor filmed DOING things on the boat, as well as talking about boat functions and sailing, i.e. not just treated as eye candy.
@Wait What? I don't doubt Taylor learned much from Bobby, and he was quite generous with his time in helping her find a boat and get it into shape for long sails. However, on Doodles she came off a bit one dimensional, and that was Bobby's doing. Too often when she took the helm you would think she was 15 years old by the way Bobby spoke to her or described the situation in voiceover.
@@hd-xc2lz I agree to that statement !!! ... but i also think off camera Taylor is treated far differently and much better and not just as "EYECANDY" that Bobby makes her out to be on camera, only because ladies like Taylor keep going back to his boats. Yes Taylor is absolutely Gorgeous but she is a very smart and talented young Lady !!! i also watch Sailing doodles and Taylors Travels and not just for the Eyecandy

I know I'm a little late commenting on the addition of Taylor to the crew and the total cuteness of Sierra. Watching Taylor giving Sierra a hug you can see the love of the crew to the baby. I think when the time is right Taylor will make a very loving mother. I think Sierra has the most grabbing smile to make anyone happy.

I attended Brady and Blues Cruisers Academy this summer on Lake Tahoe and really liked this video because I understood Delos and how she works so much better than any time in the last decade of watching your videos.
Now, your goal in life is to make Sierra happy, and when she's happy everybody is happy, and so do we.

Baby Nuggs cheersing everyone was super cute and she looked so happy that everyone was playing along with her.

For many years now, a sure sign that all is well on Delos is when Karen is up in the seat on the bow pulpit, filming with the long selfie stick. Just sets the vibe that life aboard is good.
I realize how long I've been watching when I think of my granddaughter... who when she was a toddler used to sit on my lap and watch too, and now she is almost a teenager...time flies.

il always love watching just you guys but I cant help but feel like Delos is finally back to what she does best. Hosting new crew which always sparks amazing friendships and working together. thats what I love to see. thats what got me real hooked when I first started watching the mix of people and the magic of how sailing brings them so close by the time to go separate ways.

Wondering how young Taylor would have been when Brian and his brother first sailed Delos out on all the wonderful adventures we have all viewed through out the years? And here she is actually steering this beautiful vessel on another adventure. Thank you Brian for quitting you day job many years ago.
going by the internet (your mileage may vary) she was around 15 in 2009 when Delos first set out (apologies to Taylor for speculating on the age of a lady)

Thank you Delos crew for including me, I miss sailing the Great Lakes, I miss our boat (SV Shotgun) and my husband who passed away. It is such an exhilarating feeling to be free on the water again if only vicariously. You are my heroes. Stay safe and always fair winds and calm seas to you.

Another great video! As I thought, Taylor is fitting in perfectly... She's a gem, not just a beautiful young lady, but also has a wonderful personality, great sense of humor and she's not afraid to get her hands dirty when there's work to be done... Really glad you guys were able to get her onboard, as a crew member she's going to make life a lot easier for both of you... I know Brian has basically been single handing the sailing while Kazza looks after Sierra... As always, I'll be waiting as patiently as I can for the next video... Thank you Delos crew, that was the quickest 20 minutes I've ever experienced. I'm really stoked on Taylor and her vibe she brings to the boat. I've watched every episode and it feels like a bit of that extra magic is coming back, this had some fresh creativity and a good flow to it. I would love to see that boat one day. Now Taylor has had a little while to get used to the boat, it would be really interesting for her to record for us a tour of the boat through different eyes - drawing on her own previous experience, picking out the differences between Delos and other of similar size she's sailed on; any surprises she's encountered, and so on.

Really enjoying Delos, followed Taylor here from her channel and Bobby's, makes me yearn to be on the sea. Probably won't happen for me anymore, but it sure is great to see you enjoying sailing and seeing new horizons! Your little Nugget reminds me so much of my little Monkey at that age, she is 9 now and a going concern.
Such a great episode. Really enjoyed seeing baby Nuggs popping her head through the bimni calling for momma to come see too. Must be great having taylor to crew, even if shes a light pourer!

It’s Kind of impossible to Be Sad Being raised on a Sailboat on the ocean. The Ocean is a Great Place.
Well, they have shown some times she's not so happy.... but as a rule she's a happy lil camper.
After watching Taylor on Bobby's channel during the entire lockdown, I'm pleased to see her aboard Delos. She's a lot of fun, and so pleasing to the eyes, to boot. Great sail.

What a great video. I've been watching Taylor's channel and really enjoy it but the production quality of Delos video's is really so much better, nothing against Taylor, she's getting better and I see she and Brian edited this one so I'm sure she's learning. Also never realized the contrast in boats and the features Delos has. After watching Taylor on her boat where everything is manual you can see just how advanced Delos is (even for her age) and how those features make it such a great boat to travel the world in. Brian and Karen have done a great job maintaining and updating her with new technology and creature comforts, which just enhances the experience. I really enjoyed this video.
