In the UK, the Astra is offered with a 6MT and an 8AT. The new Peugeot 308, however, is only offered with the 8AT here in the UK; I dunno why. In Continental Europe and Ireland, you can get the new 308 with a 6MT as well.

Pity its only 3 sylinders, will shorten the engines life, drastically. Should be a v6. Definately not electric scam drivetrain.
