Been a Hyper-V Engineer since its inception in Windows Server 2008. I am over the moon knowing Hyper-V is back and better in Windows Server 2025. Not a Fan of AsHCI 23h2 Build, Azure HCI deployment takes far too long, 4 node 23h2 Cluster took over 4hrs for the deployment to complete. Where tradition Hyper-V Cluster only takes 15mins to create via FCM or PowerShell. In an emergency Recovery exercise 23h2 rebuild and recreation is not ideal. Appreciate this podcast and keep up the good work mate... Fan from NZ!!
AD-Less Cluster,,,, best thing ever for Hyper-V Clusters...finally feeling like esx-i

Sorry mate, for the industry that I am currently employed systems operate all from On-premise... Server - Client solution communication with SCADA PLC systems running on Modbus protocol. Microsoft Consultant is wrong... On-premise will never disappear!!

Hi, I'm totally with you but especially monitoring or security baseline management will be managed from cloud in the most cases. Hardware and machine integration will still run on prem. I would say Hybrid is here to stay :) Cheers, Flo

For the AD-Less clustering comment, is there any documents that will dive more into it?
