big fan homie. I have a serious suggestion that you should 100% do, after every detail leave a air refresher or a tag that hangs on the blinker with "top class detail" so the customer is always reminded of you. And if anyone gets in the car it may spark a discussion or something leading to more customers. This is something that you shouldn't think about and is great for business. But a big fan bro keep the work up
Much respect! I started a little Mobil Carwash here in Vegas for friends/ family and your content has been helping a lot. Keep the grind and hustle going…. Thank you for all you do!
The prices are on point boss!!!! My detailer has charged me up to $500.00 for my truck. Clay and wax are the way to go on a black car. That helps avoid the black circles. Keep charging what you're worth!!!! Know your value your work speaks for itself.
First things first. Much respect to you. I feel that the work you did was worth a lot more but I also feel that if you don't make on one job but you can make it up on another that takes you less time and you make more money. Keep up the great work.
@@NoSpillsChills why is it stupid? I charge 180-250 for a clay and seal. Not touching the interior. Customers happily pay my prices and refer me all the time. Am i stupid ?
You're worth more than that. I'm not in this industry but I do own a service business. You have to charge for the total time. 30 miles there and back plus the cleaning. If you charged me $300 plus I wouldn't blink.
Thank you so much for giving out prices it help a lot of ppl who love detailing like myself and are thinking of doing it as a business.love how genuine you are. Gained a subscriber.
Exterior work and some interior work,I say you definitely shorted yourself BUT as long as you are satisfied with what you made that's really all that matters 👌 keep up the good work 💯
Liquid waxes give more depth but sealants typically last longer. I don’t have a service that is a wash only. My base exterior detail is a wash, clay bar, 1yr spray coating and dressed. Vehicles come out fantastic!
He actually doesn’t over charge. It’s all about finding the clients that are willing to pay your prices. You’ll notice the when you start to up your princess, you get less people that want their car washed and more that want them detailed.
The only thing I would recommend not like you need my recommendation is investing in a steamer brother. I detail myself and it was probably the best purchase I’ve ever made! I’m sure you inspire a lot of people keep up the good work!
As a small business owner when it comes to peoples comment on Price. it is based on what he feels he deserves and if he is comfortable today then those are HIS prices. He may change like we all do in the future as he feels His Time/Work is worth more. KEEP IT UP!
You undercharging bro...if you compare your pricing with other detailers then your pricing should be competitive in the market. Much blessings 🙌 Keep on detailing!!
I think for now your prices are great. As you gain more experience and you gain more customers and you're in the business longer you can start raising your prices more and more. But I think your prices are good honestly. I think they strike a good balance.

I do detailing and I would charge around 200 for that and I’m in Texas remember always value your work bro you do good work I love the vids man keep it up love learning new things to put into my details in the future that u show on camera 🙌🏾🙌🏾
Just one tip as a detailer.. Your free hand should not lean on the car what so ever at any point. I might just be picky, but every little detail with contamination that is 100% avoidable...Should be avoided :) Just a friendly tip.. Keep doing good man!
Brother James ! Love from Aus bro. Watch all your videos just because the way your so passionate it excites and educates me watching you do you bro!! Keep up the good work!! P.S I ALWAYS SAID YOU CHARGE WAY TO LOW FOR THE GREATNESS YOU DO! i see the other people reyes in rollin with somedays and man u do better than ALL of them 100% no doubt. Cant Wait for you to Open a Shop and watch people line up just to get their car details by you bro!. Ill be watchin, go get em champ!
The price is a bit low for the service provided also considering you are using quality products.I would say $200-$275 would be more reasonable. that jesscar sealant is good stuff.
He sounds educated on the price. Any detailer would just say their price. A great detailer will tell you their price and their competitors price. Good to know it all 👍🏼
I charge $225 to strip wash, clay, and apply a very durable sealant to the paint, glass, and wheels. No interior work at all. CAT 6 DETAILING SERVICES, located in South Florida. I respect the hustle! 👍
Bro you got insurance? Do you have your customer sign contracts? Should also look into an LLC if you haven’t already to protect your business and assets. Never know when you will deal with a customer that may take legal action if they are unhappy with your service.
I live in FLA and people be detailing cars for $40 , $50 inside and outside.. of course no clay bar clear coat and paint correction... But even with that package they are charging $125 soo idk about ur prices may be too high or low... G.l with the business homie Much Love from FLA !!!!
Claying with any clay causes (Damage) some clear coat is quite hard and won't show much marring but that's why I won't clay the vehicle without at least a light all in one polish. Anyone who says a clay doesn't cause light scratches isn't looking hard or doesn't have the eye for it. Keep up the work, prices are pretty cheap actually, I'm in MN and I charge $220 starting for interior seat shampoo is extra pet hair also extra.
Who cares. Ultimately it’s up to the customer. You are right but how many customers ACTUALLY care about insignificant blemishes that are inevitably going to happen. If people actually cared about light scratches they wouldn’t take there car thru a drive thru wash
In any business, you start low and build up trust in your customers and convey yourself in a confident manner. Build a relationship with your customers, especially with the ones you know will recommend you to others. You are young, let them know what your goals are, let them know that you give them a cheaper price but if they would spread the word and help you out. Believe me, people will help you out bro!
I have a question, how did you get so educated on the different products and use cases and what’s recommended for each situation? Is it from trial and error or did you go to some sort of school/course to understand this?
On a vehicle with light contamination and very minor imperfections, light swirls, no oxidation, no marring, no water spots, no etching or scratches of any kind, it’s a cheaper option because it eliminates the polishing stage which drastically increases the price. A clay and seal gives you smooth and shiny paint, but without the cost of a wash, clay, polish, seal. On a vehicle with minor to no imperfections, it’s worth it.
I think 150 is a decent price for a clay and wax you still have a good income and the customer is happy with the price and he for sure will call you in the future or put word in for you . I think the sealant is a plus so I’d charge $35 extra for that
That’s about how much I charge for an exterior only service for what you’re doing is 150 for sedans 165 for midsize trucks/SUVs and 180 for large trucks/3rd rows, so about the same and I’m in Kentucky. - wash - clay/iron treatment - 1 step polish - sealant
Hey I am 14 and have started a car detailing business recently.I have a client coming in soon that has lots of water spots and iron decontamination. They are going to get a Clay and seal package with iron decontamination, should i wash the car, dry it, remove the water spots, and then do the iron remover and clay mitt or would some other order be better?
Love gettin tips to try out on my car . Am I the only one who gets personal enjoyment detailing me own vehicle. Edit I run my own construction 6 sometimes 7 days a week so time is no excuse
Can’t seem to find a place to buy the carpro clay towel and I was wondering if the rag company clay towel works the same or is the same grade (light/medium)
Have you tried out Prima Car Care's Clarity glass cleaner? I hardly use any product with it as a little goes a long way and most of the cleaning is done with the mechanical ability of the microfiber, whether it's traditional or waffle weave.
