    Love the idea of the mod. This has a lot of potential but i will wait and let it cook a little longer. Great review as always crimson 😊.

    Be aware that this mod causes very long load times of around 5 minutes or so at the moment. It seems to possibly get progressively worse the longer the playtime. Hopefully they will fix this, the mod has some nice features and has great potential for future updates

    Bought this one early on and took it off the load order to save space for other mods. Wanted to come back to this when it got more fleshed out. This is was a great help.

    I've said before that this is the sort of stuff that I'm interested in over cosmetic skins; though some modders putting 50 of them into one pack is worth attention. Space needs more things to do than putter about shooting a ship or two. So this mod fits that role nicely. I do hope they continue to expand on it and add more to it. Hazardous nebulae shows they're at least aware of the things other space games do, so there is a lot for them to draw upon.

    Those aren't custom ships. You can buy those in the base game. The one you targetted was just a Hopetech PCH/PCH II.

    Gas mining is glitched, the gas cloud never leaves once you enter no matter where you go

    Hmmm....really not sure about this.
    I really liked the idea and the concept...but its looks pretty weak considering its a paid mod. and one of the more expensive too.
    Lets break it down; you get a couple of non boardable stations with menu screens.
    Some fetch missions and some protect missions.
    Some new lasers that you can use to shoot asteroids.
    A renamed vanilla ship.
    The best things is the gas mining which actually looks pretty dull. just sit there to scoop it up. makes sense but still not really fun.
    All this for five quid?
    No, not for me.
    Thank you so much for the review and the update. maybe i'll use the case to buy a pint instead.

    Be careful with the mining base defense missions, I have aggroed and had to fight Argos and UC ships every time I have done one of the defend the Argos Base mission.

    So basically this is kind of still a work in progress, but it is safe to install and use whatever is available with this mod?

    • @CrimsonFlyboy
      @CrimsonFlyboy  4 месяца назад +1

      Yeah, it's got a lot of features currently to tide a player over. More additions are a bonus

    i really want this mod........but the fact you have to start a new game.......is just a no

    • @CrimsonFlyboy
      @CrimsonFlyboy  4 месяца назад

      You don't technically, atleast from my experience, but not doing so can lead to some weird bugs. If you do install it go inside and wait for a week in game to make sure everything loads correctly

    Paid mods is a scam... Especially when bethesda do NOT take care of them and break them. Thats what irratates me the most about cc.

      @@CrimsonFlyboy Scam has kinda become a buzz word. Some just use it to describe products they don't think are wroth the price, instead of to describe a product sold off lies or deception

    • @dra6o0n
      @dra6o0n 4 месяца назад

      It is. Because a digital product means it needs to be maintained and updated, and if updating the base game breaks mods, then you are losing monetary value from it.
      It you don't want to treat it as a misleading product type, then it needs to stop being a mod and more of an 'official' plugin or DLC.
      Because if Bethesda one day breaks mods and the paid mod is outdated and wasn't maintained actively anymore but still sold on the storefront, then people would feel ripped off as it's broken or breaks their game.

    • @JaredKohr
      @JaredKohr 4 месяца назад +1

      @@dra6o0nI have yet to see anything that was abandoned in this way. Is this an assumption or did you have examples in mind? Not every update will break mods. This is common for DLL mods on PC which rely on values in the exe for injection/etc.

      Paid mods are not the scam. People buy optional extras for all sorts of products. Sometimes those extras are of good quality and sometimes not. Caveat emptor. Do your research before buying.
      The real scam is having an intermediate currency that is sold in incremental amounts. You want be to buy something that is $4. Charge me $4. Don't charge me $5 for a block of Bethe$da Buck$ so that I've either wasted $1 or I have to buy another block to buy something else. Oh, but wait, there's still some leftover currency, so waste the money or buy more currency. And so on.
      I would literally accept paid mods in every game produced from now until the end of time if I could just get the idiot consumers to speak in a singular voice, rejecting the incremental, proprietary currency systems like Bethesda, EA, Cryptic Studios and so many others employ.
