Chicago O'Hare Diversions @ MSP Airport | 04.14.2019

I decided to upload a compilation video from last year when several aircraft Chicago O'Hare International Airport bound diverted to MSP Airport due to bad weather in the windy city. I uploaded separate videos last year of the aircraft that I caught diverting but this video also includes some of the normal MSP traffic from the day. It was an unheard of day for MSP and probably will not be repeated but who knows since Chicago always has bad weather, assuming traffic levels return close to normal someday after the current circumstances. The All Nippon one flew right over my house, and I remember on the radar seeing the Air India plane come.

Yes indeed but it will be awhile before traffic is as busy as it was before the pandemic. Also this type of traffic only happens at MSP when there are bad thunderstorms at Chicago O'Hare

Thank you, this was a little more than a normal day of passenger widebodies @MSP. We usually have Delta, KLM, Condor, Icelandair and Air France widebodies through out the year. Air India, ANA and China Eastern are not normal traffic unfortunately :(
