- Join me for a day visiting Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort on a busy day in Spring Break 2023! We have lunch at Kona Cafe and I show you the updated look and menu, we take the Monorail to Grand Floridian and see the incredible Easter Egg display, each one hand made by the resort pastry team, each one a stunningly beautiful display of creativity and skill, truly these are the best I've seen!! Let me know which one is your favorite! Then we take the full Disney Monorail resort loop and pass by Magic Kingdom, through the Contemporary Resort, the TTC, and back to the Polynesian for a stroll on the beach, seeing the construction on the new DVC Tower being built at the Polynesian, take a stroll on the beach, and soak in the beautiful views! A cozy day hanging out at Disney's monorail resorts, enjoying the spring offerings and showing you a fun way to enjoy Disney World without a park ticket and avoid the crowds! Enjoy!

Alice in Wonderland is my favourite Disney movie and that egg is incredible 😃
That Country Bear Jamboree egg was exceptional, especially love the addition of the talking heads and the stage lights! The Main Street Electrical Parade and My Neighbor Totoro ones are also so cool! Didn't expect to see Ghibli representation at the Grand Floridian but here we are! From the Easter egg display at the Grand Floridian to the Kona Cafe decor, it's the little things that really do count!
The yakisoba at Kona looks tasty! While Japanese, it still fits in with the Hawaiian theming of Kona Cafe because Hawaii has a big Japanese population. I mean the idea of putting Spam on rice and wrapping it with nori was created in Hawaii due to Japanese fishermen not being able to fish due to restrictions imposed on them during WWII, so they used the plentiful Spam thanks to the military presence!
I can't wait to visit the resorts! I love the Grand Floridian. Thanks for sharing!!

I wish I was independently Wealthy and could just fly down to Disney just to see the different displays they have monthly. Those eggs were absolutely gorgeous. That lamb pop was so cute. I can’t wait to stay at the new DVC tower at the Polynesian. Thanks for sharing your adventures with us, Jackie.

While a monorail in an urban setting isn’t exactly that practical due to it being an expensive operation, lower capacity, and switching tracks for them is hard, for a setting like Disney World, it’s effective in moving people between the two original parks and the MK resorts.
My favorite type of monorail is the Wuppertal Schwebebahn which suspends from a fixed track. The reason they’ve built it and why that way was to connect the different towns in a river valley (towns that were since combined to form Wuppertal), and the only way to both unify a narrow valley and solve traffic problems was build it above the Wupper River. They couldn’t build a subway nor a tram system because the winding valley just wasn’t suitable for either

Thank you Jackie for sharing your day out at the Disney monorail hotels. One of my favorite memories is have a day in the middle of our vac. To visit the deluxe hotels around the loop. Especially at the holidays with my husband when we where younger. Loved all the eggs you showed. Thier display of them gets bigger each year it looks like. ❤

I used to have the record from the main street electrical parade when I was little. That was always my favorite parade.
Riding on the monerail is so much fun and relaxing i use it when i have to get to a reservation sadly i never seen the easter eggs they looked amazing.

This is and for many years, always has been, my favorite thing to do😍We used to come from NJ to WDW when I was a kid, starting with the 1971 opening🤪25 years ago, I moved to FL and Resort hopping quickly became a fun weekend outing😎that, and riding the various boats , Sassagoula @ the Springs being a favorite!
Besides, the Parks are just WAY too crowded anymore!

Thanks so much for sharing this with us! The eggs were absolutely beautiful! Too often our Disney trips are Go! Go! Go! trying to pack everything in that we miss some of the other things like this. I'll definitely keep it in mind to slow down when we go in December!

What a fun day! We love resort hopping on non park days. We made some tie dye mickey shirts at home, such a fun activity and inexpensive way to have matching shirts for everyone in your group!

I love that we get to come at Christmas and tour the resorts to see the Gingerbread houses. I would love love to come see the Easter Eggs, those are so amazing. Thank you for the tour and reading about them and showing the details. Happy Easter to you and Sam.
I did this last year and watching your videos was very helpful when my mom and I had breakfast at ohana before characters were back and then walked over to see the eggs at grand Floridan and then see the eggs at contemporary and had lunch at steakhouse 71 and a few days later. We had dinner at Grand Flordian cafe and I knew to get the salmon and chicken because of you

The eggs are exquisite. It would be hard to choose just one character I would love. However I would say Belle is probably one of my favorite Disney characters. It is nice to see the different things the resorts has to offer and the beauty it brings this time of year. Blessings for your Spring..

I enjoyed watching your video and I loved the Easter egg the day artwork on there was beautiful and they tie dye shirts they were beautiful I don't know if you seen this but I saw a tie-dye Mickey mouse shirt there was actually a tie-dye assemble looking like Mickey mouse super awesome video
There are positive attributes to all of the 6 well-known channels that I routinely watch for coverage of the parks, especially Disney. However, your content is much more pleasurable to watch. Having seen many of the others cover these eggs, your close-ups and commentary were much more enjoyable. Your presentations never feel rushed or boring. You stay on topic and don't ramble about superfluous subjects. I really appreciate that I am able to immerse myself in the atmosphere without unnecessary chatter or distraction. Thank you for a professional and tasteful excursion that lets me focus on the park.🌷☀️🐰

The parks were bonkers yesterday but we lucked out and GF was quiet when we visited so we were able to enjoy the eggs with no lines!!! Absolutely amazing artistry and imagination! So very special!!

@@SuperEnthused we took one look at the crowd just to get into MK (at 11am) and said “nope” and changed our park reservation to Epcot….had a nice time over there after visiting the Easter eggs! Currently listening to you and Sam’s podcast; I’m enjoying them soooo much!
Unfortunately, the once-serene landscape view at the Poly is gone forever and taken over by yet another building block. However, your visit to the Grand Floridian with those gorgeous handmade eggs was a real highlight! Thanks!

@@SuperEnthused I remember back in 1978 when that area was lush and the sounds of their luau show hung in the air. Even after the luau closed, that meandering walkway through the landscaping transported you to the real thing---Hawaii!
