Im really enjoying these Front Page Detective Shows. I never knew they existed? So thank you so much for uploading them. I dont watch TV anymore, just search around RUclips for gems like these. And the Actors I'm just getting acquainted with.
I am British and have never come across this show before here in the UK. This was a really enjoyable episode and I look forward to seeing more of this series and have subscribed to your channel. Many thanks.
True love is a sacred flame That burns eternally, And none can dim its special glow Or change its destiny. True love speaks in tender tones And hears with gentle ear, True love gives with open heart And true love conquers fear. True love makes no harsh demands It neither rules nor binds, And true love holds with gentle hands The hearts that it entwines.
Love is never jealous, does not get easily provoked, Love does not boast. Love bears all things, endures all things, covers all transgressions, LOVE NEVER FAILS.
October 1st 2016 now there's a few things that are funny about these episodes no it's not the dialogue and it's not the characters, but maybe it is one character Edmund Lowe, You, see I Know a Man that was in the general contracting business and he had the same type of characterization as Edmond even if I made a mistake and I didn't know a lot when I was young he would always easily Let It Go and make a laugh out of it. That's what I see in Edmond the actor so when I watch him as a newspaper reporter I see an old friend named Tony. And I really enjoy these old episodes and that's probably why I like the show even more than actually the Mayhem that he gets caught up in with his secretary and his girlfriend. And I think it's really funny how or when his secretary gets angry ask the captain or lieutenant whatever they call them in the show the secretary just hangs up on him. That's really funny what secretary can get away with that hanging up on a cop let alone a captain or lieutenant. These early episodes really show how life was because there's people out there or there's people out there then and in my time growing up that were just like the characters in this episode. So anyway that's enough for my yapping, to the person that put up these episodes this playlist, thanks a lot because I really do enjoy them. Just today I discovered the episodes prior I was just listening to my radio shows which I enjoy almost as well or maybe a little better so to the person that put these up thanks again for other people can see them other people to enjoy them . ( APatriotnowawake ) so I'm heading back to number 5 and finish watching the rest of them I have 10 more to go !!!
His wife died just the night before and all he basically says is "good riddance." No one else gives it much thought either. I think the Prime Suspect was miscast. They seemed to want him breezy and irresponsible. As it is, he's snappish, without empathy, and...too uncharismatic and too old for the character to be sympathetic.
These "Front Page Detective" shows are always good for a laugh. Bad acting, ludicrous actions, lame dialogue... it's all there. When Chase realized the guy was innocent why didn't he just point out the evidence to the cop. No... he lets the guy be chased by the police all night long. The girl trying to take the envelope right in front of everybody... the guy escaping out the window... 60 year old Lowe and 25 year old Drew...Yikes!
A trick of old elite to present old people as the most wanted by young girls to maneuver girls mind to oldies which has always been flaw in men character. story wasn't charming at all either.
@@zorroalphonso4354 I am very afended by that statement about Jews, this programme is make believe .. and if a young women wants to go out with an older man ,this does not make her a whore. I am a Jew and female oops and my husband is older than me ,and I am not a whore

I was not familiar with this show either , unbelivable how many tv detective shows there were made in the 1950s . All in black and white , all gems. 😊

Smoke. Smoke. Smoke that cigarette. There must have been a cloud over Hollywood for years.
Up until the 80s
This is excessive, by any measure.
Not only is he burning her table, he’s flicking his ashes on her carpet as well. Jerk.
Did this show originally air on the DuMont Network?
Edmund Lowe is 61 years old in this series, born in 1890, proving viagra works. Beautiful girlfriend 😊

great
Man did that guy smoke
Dennis O'Keith did too!
David is 70, the girlfriend looks 22.
Yeah, her grandpa.
Exactly....they should have used a younger guy...but I enjoy these episodes
Age is just a number
You are Wrong, Edmund Lowe was 61 during this episode
I think it's funny when she calls him her "boy" friend.
Companion back then did not means gay

Better suited for radio. Probably written for radio. Sounds like a radio program.
He got rid of his habit of burning tables with that amount of smoking, I find it surprising

Good LORD the acting in this episode was ATROCIOUS !
Cigarettes gives you very bad breath!!
When a show starts out with the leading ady in her bra, it's a keeper!
stooge

That guy who plays the cop is a terrible actor! The others are only marginally better.
