Doing great Sassafras! Love your videos, they are good quality and extremely entertaining. You are hiking strong and doing good miles. Keep it up but always stop to see and do the little things along the way.

Sass you are such a wise person for being so young. An old soul. You cranked out the miles and had most of your expectations met. Good day overall.

I think that the leaves at 2:14 are bunchflower - they will have a white fluffy plume in early summer.

Beautiful ponies! I'm so sorry you missed Fresh Ground Jess but if you're interested when you get to the White Mountains I can get you a lobster roll. I've done it twice before - the first with Jay Wanders Out (day 173) and the second last year with Happy Camphares ( halfway through week 18). You bring so much joy to so many that you truly deserve this.

Well for me , it’s nice to have overcast days so the sun isn’t beating down on you when there’s not much shade - I wonder if that could have been a good area to go barefoot for a sore foot and ankle break and just do a 20 minute barefoot connection with the earth while saying hello to the horses? Just a thought. . . . 🌱🏃‍♀️🌿🧘🏼🙏

Ya know, they're not actually wild as much as feral. Goats would be better, anyway.
    Frickin' Grayson Highlands, anyway.
