The graphics aren't bad but they seem bad because of the outstanding graphics of the arcade version.And probably a kid would never play a game like this
The only thing i'm dissapointed, is that the Mirai version doesn't look always happy, i even feel their faces can transmit more emotion than the Project Diva models

I disagree with the fact that the game graphics are bad, it was just that it wasn't necessary to basically make a port of a project diva game over to the 3DS. The 3DS graphics... are awful, only 320x400 but when playing games it really doesn't matter and this was done to: 1. Have a longer battery life 2. Make the games a smaller size since it is quite limited not only on game cards, but also as digital download on SD/microSD cards. For example, Project Diva Future Tone is around 30GB or so, while Project Mirai DX is only 2.16GB. Which means that the physical game is going to cost a lot more than a typical 3DS game and getting a digital copy is pretty impossible with a 32GB SD/microSD card especially if you already have Homebrew and other goodies along side games that add up to more than 3GB (I keep saying *SD/microSD* cards because the old 3DS uses regular big SD cards unlike the newer models.)
I like the Arcade version better (Yea, fight me), but I like how Mirai's version has a "story book feel to it". And I like how in Arcade the colors are different during the montage, and that you can see Rin flying, and not a comet.

Mirai Rin is the small figure to the left, still in that style and holding hands with the kitsune. The kitsune themselves are normal style, showing a significant difference in design to Rin's Mirai body, which remains small and chibi in comparison.
I'll tell you why Future Tone is better. First off, the stars in the beginning look more gorgeous. Second, her running looks more realistic while in Mirai it looks like she's just waving her hands. Also, you can see her trip for a moment which makes it look realistic. Third, you can see grass on the terrain which gives it a more realistic feel. Fourth, the shooting star looks more gorgeous and prettier, and the stars look a hundred times better than Mirai, where there isn't even any stars. Fifth, you can see the glowing stars around Rin better in Future Tone. Sixth, the part when Rin is flying looks better. Seventh, her standing up looks more like she's standing up. Eighth, at 1:22 you can actually see the trees around her while in Miraj you just see dark green around her. Ninth, the zooming out looks better. Tenth, the toris part look better in Future Tone at 1:36 i give this point to Mirai because it's blue in Mirai while in Future Tone it's just a dirty brown color. Eleventh, the part at 1:41 looks a lot better. But at 1:53 i give this point to Mirai because it looks a tad better. Twelfth, Rin flying looks a lot better again. She twirls better, also the stars look more realistic. Thirteenth, at 2:34 it looks better with the monotone theme in Arcade and you can actually see her fly for a moment, but i give this point to Mirai because of the cute eyes and blush when she falls down. Fourteenth, 2:45 WHERE IS RIN'S CUTE EYES IN MIRAI?! Fifteenth, the stars around Rin looks better in Future Tone. Sixteenth, again you can actually see Rin flying in Future Tone while in Mirai she just floats. Seventeenth, you can see the lines and the stars around Rin better in Future Tone. I like the lines because then it gives a feel that she's actually flying rather than floating. Eighteenth, the meteor effects going up the hill looks A LOT better in Future Tone. Everything in that part is better, actually. But the part where Rin is going up is better in Mirai because you can see a burst of light when she flies up. Ninteenth, you can actually see Rin flying in Future Tone as opposed to Mirai where you just see a bunch of lights. Twentieth, the part where Rin and her mother are in the moon looks better because her mother is patting her head while in Mirai she's just holding her hand. Future Tone wins!
I think the only reason why I like Arcade more is because it looks so beautiful and amazing (I could go off about how magical Arcade looks but anyways). I also like Project Mirai because even tho the graphics are a downgrade (bc it runs on a DS), It just looks really cute and I love her expressions so much like AAAAAAAA- chibi rin would get along with Notmal Rin tho

Look, I don’t have some detailed description on what I think,but just looking at the comparison makes me like Mirai’s better because of it’s cuteness, and Project Mirai is underrated! I just can’t see why besides Project Diva having more difficulty and details!
the only reason people tend to like mirai or arcade its bc of their lame nostlagia and pathetic eyesight, they should rethink their existence and accept arcade is just better, more detailed, more dramatic, more beatiful. I mean, it's true, but the problem with Mirai it it's was release on 3ds, know there kinda low graphics... But comparate Project Mirai who got release in 2013 and some game release later on 3DS ( Like Miitopia 3DS / 2017 ) The graphiscs isn't that bad... And it's surely one of the 3ds game with the best graphics... But I kinda agree arcade graphics better, we have not to deny it...

Project mirai has a special place in my heart, the ds is my fav handheld and it was my first ever Miku game!
