That's cool as hell, I live in southeast TN probably close to where you were. Love the woods, they are a lot older than we think. The fear you were encountering was probably was you recognizing the "emptiness or incompletion" you were talking about as it contrasted the vibrant and full of life environment you were in. But this is an illusion as you said, it was just showing you the contrast between the inner world and outside. A real journey into the abyss, that's why it was so refreshing bc now you can see the "shadow" or at least more of it. And that is critical on the path of improvement and mastery. Enjoyed the vid this is the kind of shit that fills music with life and tangible energy, keep it up💪⚡

Yes that fear was definitely linked with the dark part of myself. I think those forests try to mirror any darkness you have in you. They try to mirror your "shadow" so you're forced to acknowledge it. I think that's why some people get scared in those forests. They say "those forests are terrifying" but I think they're just not ready to acknowledge their shadow side (because your shadow is terrifying to you). I can see why there have been incidents out there; stories of people going insane and then kidnapping or killing other hikers. Those people simply misinterpreted the darkness in those forests. Those forests can help you spiritually, but if you don't interpret them right, you can turn crazy. It's part of why I made this video. Those mountains can be a curse but also a blessing. For people who go exploring there, it's important to interpret those mountains in a positive way.
