    You're giving me some great ideas for my build over here in the US. I've been researching 12v AirCon units like crazy and am going to do a similar install. That truma unit looks nice!

    Be careful putting any load on the plastic connectors. My first two builds I used the same alloy tubing and connectors but all joins that took weight or shock loads eventually cracked. I now use metal connections or 80/20.

    amazing skills. Your Troopy is your oasis from the elements, including insects, heat, and cold. Your nest. It needs to be comfortable. Kudos for the aircon! Will make life on the road so much more enjoyable and will add to the longevity of your adventures. Does it heat as well? that would be the ultimate!

      Thanks so much, yea exactly our thinking, and as we plan on living it for a very long time, just those creature comforts make all the difference.
      Yea it work even more efficiently on heating 👌🏼 so win win

    Will be there an update on what you did with the air vent?

    It takes up a lot of space . . . . But it will be useful . . . not sure whether space taken will equal usefulness. . . . Build is going great

      Yea it sure does, we travel very light, we can't even fill the Troopy with gear, so for us personally the space was available and we still have empty draws so it will hopefully come in handy on the road.

    What’s the advantage of the air tank? I have the same compressor.

      the advantage of the air tank is less running time on the air compressor and quicker inflation, but it not a necessity. More of a convenience

      You are truly a beautiful couple and this build is a work of art. I have watched hundreds of YT videos while I waited 18 months for my Troopy to arrive and this is the first AC I have seen in a Troopy. Quite a few in Vans but I feel your build is unique 👌

    Looks great! Exciting. What kind of magnet did you use for the vent?

      @Travelling_sands  2 месяца назад

      Cheers mate! We just went to our local hardware store and found a round magnet a bit smaller than a 5c piece that was quite strong
