In Taiwan we do called tapioca balls "frog eggs", sometimes "Boba", "Pearls".
Frog eggs/tapioca balls used to be smaller.
Fenyuan is the oldest name for tapioca balls in Taiwan.
Pearl is used as a better sounding name for Fenyuan.
Boba is the larger version of Fenyuan/Pearl. The term boba originally meant “big boobs” from HK movies in early 1990s.

Just curious but how long was the wait?
I waited for about 30 mins, because they ran out of rice. But after it is cooked and ready, line dissapeared quickly. Just like in the video, they serve you very fast.

I was always wondering why could you travel everywhere nowadays? Sure some country like Taiwan is save from n-CoV, but still really impressive.
They took precautions way before we even started to believe Covid 19 is a thing. Instead of wasting time trolling on the internet, they were on the ground co-operating with the govt and followed all the precautionary measure as a law. Something us freedom whores cannot understand it. That's why we're home and they're out.
We're like " who the fuck you think you are to tell me to wear mask or stay at home?"
They're like "Alright folks let's all do this using our brains and fight this together not with each other"
