- Welcome to the video! This is the first video where we start work on Dad's new toy! The BMW R12 German military motorbike and sidecar. We both agreed that it needed resprayed into back into military colours, the colour Dad chose is the Ral8000 which we have been told is one of the colour they are supplied in from factory! Bike looks great, you’ve certainly done a good job so far between the two of you. Was expecting it to be grey though. What are the origins of the gold / beige finish ?
We did think should we do it grey but we both thought we liked it in the sand colours, the colour is the sand colour they did them from factory so it's still proper job. Just personal preference really.
