It’s so nice to see you and Arthur trying to work together on restoring trust, loving ways & being help mates. Even it it doesn’t work out in the end; being kind to each other sets a great example for those 7 children without disregarding their feelings. Or letting them think it’s ok to abuse or allow abuse of your spouse. Children first then yourselves. I am so proud of you both. I always tell my grands “ communication, talking about expectations is the key to a successful relationship. Life doesn’t come with an “how to” book. Your partner doesn’t know what you need or expect by Osmosis. Talk!

To original post: I like your advice to your grandchildren. Would have been nice to have heard it years ago from my family in this way. 💖To others:Most parents want the best for their children and so they ideally would try their best to be their best which I believe involves being a good spouse (assuming the parents are together). Which came first the chicken or the egg?!

Your videos are my absolute favorite thing on youtube. I literally wait with great anticipation for the next one. Watching the two of you work with wisdom, grace, and love to restore your relationship is the very best representation of God's presence on this earth.
With each video I am more in awe at your sacrifice of privacy to be vulnerable and honest about all you are experiencing. My heart is filled with emense gratitude that you are letting us come along and watch as the Lord brings healing and restoration! Art and Bri, watching the two of you work so hard at this is incredibly inspiring and uplifting and stirs me on to do better and be better in my own marriage and in other areas of life. When you feel weary please know that you are positively impacting thousands of peoples lives.❤

When Arthur and the children were storing the sweet potatoes on the black material under the tent, I knew it would be like roasting them when there was a hot day. I feel very bad that I didn’t say anything then. I didn’t want to hurt your feelings and felt it wasn’t any of my business. You and Arthur were having such a lovely day, I didn’t want to spoil it. My husband and I separated last October and after a few months of genuine alone time, we began speaking again and working on our relationship and your videos now remind me so much of that time in our life because he began spending a lot of time at my house and we worked on projects together and that was a really healing time for us. Being away from the home and area that had so many memories for us, just being somewhere entirely new...really seemed to be what we needed at the time. After 3 months apart we reconciled and stayed at the new house for 5 months before we ended up deciding to move back to our old farm. Not to say anyone's journal has to look like anybody else's, but rather seeing you two do some projects together or for each other now, reminds me of that time in my life.

I built a cheap 3-D deer fence. I used t-posts around the garden and used white twine on top, middle, and bottom (about a foot from ground). This makes it accessible for humans. About 3' out from that fence, I bought from Tractor Supply, "28" pigtail sign holders", and put twine in the top hole. I protect the rows with netting like you do because I was growing brassicas.
This worked very well for me.

Gardening is such hard work, but it is so validating and soulful
As well… It is refreshing to see children enjoying working in the garden and not complaining.
I have been through a separation in my life and it was difficult, but it does force you to communicate, and it forced you to realize the priorities in a relationship and work together, even when that is very hard to do and feelings have been festering as well as some betrayal often times. I know the two of you Art and Bri, or taking this very seriously but I want you to know that I am praying for the both of you, as well as the family and God‘s will will be me apparent to you both❣️🙏 Thank you so much These videos with us❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️

I think expecting children to do or not do things based on when other children do is so unhealthy. We humans, even tiny ones, are very much individuals and will develop and progress differently than other humans. Look at your peers. Are you all doing everything the same? Not to mention, these babies were born very prematurely.
