Hey Nia, while I am not a beautiful person of color like yourself, I feel that you should always be able just to show your natural hair. You do your hair as you like. And if people don't like it, then they need to get over it. Your hair is beautiful and you should be able to do as you please. Embrace all of that beauty that you possess. I love that you are showing your daughter this and I am always here for it. Plus you rock those clip-ins Girl, you put them in like it was no big deal at all. I am so jelly of this skill. I hope I nicely said this. I never want to offend anyone. As really mean this as a compliment.
I also want to say that I have 4C naturally curly hair and, while I am white, I feel that many of the products created for natural hair work better on me than what is traditionally used. My hair seems to need more moisture, and it helps to make my curls look their best Personally I like Cantu products. Especially the coconut curling cream, comeback curl, natural coil calm detangler, and my fave is the Cantu wave whip curling mousse. I love how it makes your curls look fabbo and it's not crunchy or anything. I also like the Palmers Olive Oil Shine Therapy leave-in conditioner. Unrelated to these products, the Brad Mondo x Mondo products for curly hair also work amazingly but at a much higher price point.

Nia, If you don't want even shadows to show on that one credenza you can apply another sheet of film paper over the one that you already put on the doors. I had to do that on a hutch that I didn't want anything to show.

Lets talk about the hair girlie, lol! Well I am natural and my hair is the same length as yours and through out the fall and winter I like to wear my natural hair out. I go to a professional to get my brazilian treatment which lasts in our hair for 6 months to a 1 year as long as you use sulfate free hair products. The brazilian treatment is a form of a relaxer but so much healthier for your hair. Its so worth it! Do your research so many videos on it anyways. Take care.
