To think they weren’t even trying to sound professional on their first album shows they’re gonna have great success in the foreseeable future with their newest album and beyond. Plus they a gang of friends, that’s how all the best bands are formed :)

It immediately became one of my favorite albums but after sticking with them till the second album I think the have past iron Maiden and are my favorite band. I never thought it would happen but brothers of metal is just unbelievably amazing.

They are just Fun, they are having fun and you can tell by looking at them, I mean watch that recording of her on stage, the woman is literally smiling. They are goofy sure, but they have an energy they transfer pretty well.

I’ve found them by accident, just looking for some new metal. Man they’re absolutely stunning. I like the way they keep their feet on the ground. And Ylva is just gorgeous. Smart, Strong, talented and the voice…I can listen to them all day without skipping a song.
You could have 2 sets of clothes for the band, the "barbarian" furry clothes, and more authentic viking clothes. That would show both fantasy vikings and real vikings, according to the nature of a specific song... I would really love to see you with beautiful tunics, proper viking leather boots and maby some chainmail. I'm sick of seeing barbarians everytime someone tries to depict vikings...
I think what makes their videoclips so nice it's because it's homemade :) I have a brazilian friend here, his surname is also Eriksson, he talks to his children when they cry "Você é Viking, porra!" haha, he has many Viking tattoos and is indeed Viking descendant.

They tapped into a…well, “wholesome”…aspect of their wonderful, mythological music. That sort of tone resonates with people; and I’m so glad the fans made that known.

Some of those songs are already classics in my book. Ride of the Valkyries, Yggdrasil, Kaunaz Dagaz, Hel and Brothers Unite are incredible. Weaver of Fate is one of the best ballads ever made and you can't say otherwise.
As I was in the audience at Sweden Rock Festival I kept pausing to see if I had managed to get caught on film for a 10th of second but no luck. :-) Also, it is not easy to get an entire Sweden Rock Festival audience to kneel and receive a blessing, but they (mostly Mats) managed to do it!
I am into epic metal and I am not new in the genre. But they gave me an epicness with that norse spirit...unique in its own way I would say! I am a super fan now!
They are probably one of the best metal bands from eastern Europe, right up there with Sabaton, Alestorm, and Manowar. Easily my favorite metal band. Kind of strange to hear Joakim in his normal voice for the first time though XD
They wrote one of the best ever debut albums of the genre and are like: "Well, with the NEXT one we actually put some effort in this time" Fucking hilarious :D Love these guys so much. Emblas Saga is just amazing and I'm really looking forward to Fimbulvinter
Not gonna lie, the RUclips algorithm suggested Yggdrasil to me. That was how I found them. I almost exited the video at the start because of those costumes. They're so cheesey. The music felt cheesey too at first. I had never seen or heard anyone do viking themed power metal before. Definitely glad I stuck it out and finished the video. This is now one of my favorite power metal bands. They have a fantastic sound and the viking mythology is a nice change of pace from the more typical swords and sorcery type of power metal themes.

Got to hang out with Ylva and Dawid (Guitar) a few weeks back. Both are laidback, funny and cool as all hell. Smart and charismatic as fuck.
