When you have a feeling you are going to have to use shadowrift use your curse of exhaustion then use it. I love it.

These are great tips mate, thank you! I am currently gearing up my lock for arena. Practicing this stuff in skirmishes until I get really good. For me it is trying not to panic and pressing buttons! Sometimes when they are really on me, my brain goes out the window!

Thank you very much for your analyzing and advices @Cobrak i know my positioning sucks, i just have to practice and practice more, hopefully it will get better :D and to your question why succubus, i feel like im a bit tankier with 10% or 20% dmg reduction when low, then just more raw hp, and many people in solo shuffle seems to ignore her when seducing someone so sometimes i got really big value out of her, but you are right that sometimes pet just dying in few secs if they focus it and theres nothing to do about it. But ill try sac build for sure .
Whats the addon your using to make friendly names show like that?
@@bobjones4980 im using threat plates and you have to enable headline view in friendly units there

Do you all make sure you have curse of tongues uptime on enemy healer/casters in addition to amplified weakness on the melee? or not really (I’m 1200)
first thing i do is enhanced curse of weakness on the dps that goes on me
As a new lock, why is Infernal-> Shadowfury good? He did it multiple times this video and each time you were positive towards that play. What is the reason? Ive been using them separately
infernal stun doesnt share cdr, its a small stun that helps you cast freely 4 about 1 or 2 secs
And it helps you get off shadowfury early on without getting kicked in the middle of a zug melee opener.
I always try to set my circle and gateway up there but had no idea you could gateway from the ground up there.
Actually now that I think about it on Tiger's peak you can set it up on to the stand. It's a little harder to do because of the chains, but if you jump it helps. you can usually set it up there while still being behind the pillar or just on the edge. And it makes it much more annoying for melee to get back to you. Additionally if you sit on the edge of the wall a warriors charge will charge to the wall because they can hit you from below. And then taking a step back towards the center of the platform makes them unable to hit you and they need to walk all the way around or burn leap.
i normally play upstairs and put tp there and gate all the way down, so if i have to get rid of mellee i jump down and when they do i use tp or shdowrift or if omat is down and fear on dr i shadow rift heal so he goes up and he cant heal no more
love these vids, seems like that guy has his soulburn macros set up backwards, im pretty sure you want /cast soulburn before the portal or health stone so they activate first
I have one question that i didnt find the answer online: is grimore of sacrifice dispelable? I sometimes find myself without the pet ability in solo shuffle. Who can dispel it? Sorry if i seem like a noob, but i just dont know the answer.
I think it's a bug. I noticed it last night as I just leveled my lock. Many times I sac pet before gates open and the buff goes away. Try waiting for the gates to open then use! Never had issues after that!
@Toxic_Covid yeah that's exactly it, took me a while to notice but you have to sac pet after all talent changes are done

You mentioned a circle macro for Soulburn...mind sharing it? I currently just have a macro for Alt to summon the circle and no mod to use it.
just put cast soulburn above the cast spellname in the macro. you can do it for all the soulburnable spells.

What addon are you using to see that you have Conflagrate/shadowburn/etc ready to cast, just under your char?

What do you think about playing Imp Sac into the hunter which would allow you to dispel the traps, He wasn’t playing Diamond ice and doesn’t look like he as was covering his traps with Hunters mark?.
That can work for sure and is something I want to try vs. hunters in future! Definitely has promise

Too many of the longer cast times being used is the first thing i noticed. I would just do lots of kiting when you have no soulburn or conflag available. But hey, I'm only in 1200cr for solo so who am i to judge?

ngl the combat scrolling text is soooo cluttery on top of the nameplate cd icons....I couldn't watch this whole video, 3 mins I got triggered.....bro ffs clean yo shit up haha, you don't need to track PET damage haha...amongst so many other things....reducing the clutter will increase your rating alone haha.
yeah you are right i actually stoped using it, i was using it mostly in classic but now in retail theres just too much going on too fast , whole screen is just filled with abilites within seconds
