They probably see it but don't understand it, they say they won ww2 and Vietnam but in reality they didn't, the combined forces won ww2, Vietnam was a stalemate and they ran from the middle east. At least when Russia went to the middle east they were smart enough to withdraw taking their things with them, while USA were defeated in the middle east because they just left their stuff there, if it was a withdrawal they would have retreated with their things. You nato fanboys forget 1 very important fact. Russia is 1 country while nato is only as powerfull as its weakest link. And when war really breaks out on the European continent the US won't risk its own cities for any european country. Western people stare blind to that article 5, but countries only hold up as long as total destruction isn't a possibility. Should Russia hit a base in Poland or Romania sure those countries will go to war but France, Germany, UK or the US at that point have to decide do we risk ourselves being hit with nuclear weapons while knowing that if they were to retalliate winning is no option? No country goes to war without the possibility of victory. Nato article 5 only holds power to deter but loses everything when called upon.
