Currently farming Monoblos's silver horn in MHFU with bow, seeing this kind of Skill in display gives me a Boost to keep going. Amazing video as always!!!! Truly the Best out there!!
Man I loved bow in freedom unite. That clunky shit was so good. They cleaned it up too much for me in newer titles, but the old pain in the ass bow from freedom unite will always hold a special place in my heart. Good hunting!

FU was my first monster hunter game. I’m forever traumatized, but in a good way. I began as a longsword user then evolved into hammer bro. If a quest was too hard, always went back to a longsword lol. That would be an awesome switch re release.
here's the order of upgrade for the slots: 1- fill the empty slots from left to right 2- upgrade slot up to 4 from left to right so with this armor only having a 3-0-0, it will go => 3-1-0 => 3-1-1 ( => 4-1-1 => 4-2-1 => 4-3-1 => 4-4-1 => 4-4-2 [...] )
Definitely an insane build! I tried out a similar setup, it's damage is insanely high, but you can't use it with followers that use lifedust or other healing things cause it messes up the deriliction/Strife combo something fierce

@@daorasama He did. On his channel is a Lance solo on Amatsu. In his streams he said that Amatsu is pretty Lance friendly if you have enough guard skills. I guess it's just personal preference. Could be that some monsters feel better to hunt with certain weapons. I don't think it's because how difficult monster is. Eventho, Lance is the more save option in most cases. Pretty sure that Bow runs take more time to do.

he calculate the dmg tht he make is better n faster than using valstrax...bcos this is a speedrun...but if u are playing casually..better use the valstrax...at least u can deal decent dmg while being safe
The camera locks onto valstrax so even if they wanted to do damage the arrows will be shot toward val. They sheathed and ran away from amatsu so they wouldn't get hit by the ambush aoe.
Mega Dash Juice retrieves it's old properties just for this quest 😂 Jokes apart, i suppose it's thanks to the Amatsu armor set skill "Heaven Sent". It negates stamina consumption if you don't take damage (i think).
Strife level 3 gives them infinite stam. In the beginning they swap scrolls to proc berserk and swap again so that they have red health to proc the strife effect.
I tried using Berserk lv1 and Strife lv3 with no Heaven-Sent Tempest Robe like in the vid. Only blue scroll gives you inifinite stamina, red scroll don't. I wonder how? In the vid he use red scroll in the run but still inifinite stamina, or i'm missing something?
@@SdF-alvz so in the video dereliction brings their health down to strife range in red scroll after the double swap. You can see strife proc during the part where they are using the ballista.
It's useless as it only moves every minute. The game already keeps track of your quest time anyway, and once the video is uploaded, the video runtime serves as the timer for the viewer.
I'm not a speed runner by any starch stretch of the imagination but there was a couple of times you could've used herculean draw to close the gap instead of firing from outside of critical range while also getting an attack buff.
Probably rise, more active community atm, then world later, i’d also highly recommend Generations Ultimate, but for a newer player i definitely recommend Rise/sunbreak as it’s the easiest to get into for newer players
If you have friends playing with you get world/iceborne because its a ton of fun with lots of content. If not get rise because its a little less fun (because its easier and you run through it quicker) but has a very active player base

Berserk/strife just makes the weapon way too good even in normal hunts with how hard it is to cart with berserk(assuming the hp drain is counteract with sufficient healing skills/buffs)
I'd have to disagree. I've recently been playing ALOT of bow with evade skills and stuff, it's really fun. I'm nowhere near speedrun level but Evade Window + Bubbly Dance + Embolden = easy dodging. I get that some people tire of seeing bow speedruns because of how strong it can be in this game, but it's not a speedrun only weapon.

One question, why in my Amatsu fights appears a Zinogre and not Valstrax?
when you fight it as an urgent quest zinogre comes because master utsushi is with you, otherwise you'll always get valstrax
If you have utsushi as your hunting partner he gets zinogre. If any other buddy or solo it is valstrax
If Master Utsushi joins you in the quest as a follower he will bring an apex Zinogre. If Utsushi is not present, Valstrax will show up instead.
main quest shows zinogre, after this the quest changes (name) and appears valstrax.
There is a long life fight between zinogre and amatsu, because they hunt in the same territory, so they hate eachother almost in a biological way

No I mean at 2:28 he sheathes his weapon for about 6 seconds while waiting for valstrax to divebomb, why not attack amatsu during that?

I think it's the armor skill Strife (Lv. 3) which grants infinite stamina at max gauge
