Very Few Guy's On The Planet As Talented And Gifted Yet SOOO Underrated As Pat Simmons. His Songs Are Classic's An To Me Anyway, He Will Always Be Doobie Brother # 1
Saw doobieBrothers back in mid 70's at the time when they were huge, but Tom was sick and not on tour. Pat sang every freaking song it seemed like, the man is pure talent
Simply awesome talent. Thank you Patrick Simmons!
One of the best songs by the Dobbies is With out you from the Captain & me Album. Dobbie fan from the Seventies in England.
OUTSTANDING
Talent. Period.
My cover band is adding this song in 2021. I've always loved this tune. My Taylor 816ce will serve as the foundation for this amazing song. Can't wait! 🎸
Doobie Brothers = Patrick Simmons!
Still mellow and Smooth After All these years....PS 💗
So very, very great. --- [1] As of today, 3/25/20, on 10/15/20, we are going to see the Doobies here in New Orleans, the home of the black water. We're looking forward to this concert so very much. --- [2] Last 4/25/19, at New Orleans JazzFest, we saw the Doobs immediately followed by Earth Wind & Fire. We got to see two of the best live-performance groups in the world (the third is the Eagles) in one standing here in New Orleans. Life does not get any better. :) Richard
Triple Taylors-awesome, thanx for posting!
Incredible!
REAL music!
Exactly right.
awesome! Man...
Sweet..... I mean.... SWEET!
this was the soundtrack to alot of weed smokin back in the day
back in the day? How about right now! LOL
Don’t know about the other guys, but he’s tuned down a half step.Prob easier for the vocals and keeps his fingering like the old days. Still very cool, he’s impressive, brings that old tune alive again!
Great
Taylor guitars have no personality. You're not beating a Martin for bluegrass and most strumming styles. A Gibson covers the rest. I can remember Pat playing in the late 60s, early 70s around San Jose and Santa Cruz before the Doobies! He is super talented!
As they say in the South, "Well bless your heart!"

Funky. X
Génial :) :)
I wonder why why people say The Doobies are underrated?? Very strange?? Maybe these people's perceptions are flawed? As they are!!!

The Happening brought me here
Keep your Martin, you would have regretted buying the Taylor, I know I have. Piece of crap
Martin's have THE classic tone. Taylor's are too bright, but not as bright as a Takamine.
Lovely performance from all the guys ... HORRIBLE guitar sounds .... enough to put you off buying a Taylor 1
I had one until someone told me that it was actually an electric guitar, not an acoustic. And that's correct. Without an amplifier they sound quite thin and steely. There's no character in them.
George de A
Wrong amplification of acoustic guitars, it takes dedicated amplifiers. The Taylor if you amplify worthily, they have a really good sound
Apparently these people are guitar players cuz of Taylor is the best. Tons of styles to choose from they all sound great and easy to play.
Not guitar players
Great playing......So why does it sound shit? Too many Taylors....
Well bless your heart, Jon!
