- As Indiana gets ready to take on Purdue this Friday, a decent number of fans appear to think that the Hoosiers have already blown their shot at the tournament. The truth is that they have not -- yet -- but the trends are not positive, with IU having lost four of their last five games. However, Indiana's not that far outside the field right now. We dive into a variety of numbers to explore where IU sits as a team on the eve of February, and talk about what the Hoosiers need to do in order to get back on the right side of the cut line.
Thanks Galen. Great show and very interesting!
It's sad to see Woody tarnishing his legacy, I hope he gets it back in the future, the experiment is over, all parties should move on and save Woody's legacy as a player.
It's really interesting watching IU's tourney chances, they have such decent talent the bracketologists have to keep them on the cusp. With NIL it should make it easier for IU to be successful...if you have a coach who knows how to coach in college.
Great analysis as always ! Always a better day with CrimsonCast
Love IU. Will support and cheer for the team as a whole. I am frustrated by some of the players effort, but very frustrated with the coaching, which I think has an effect on the players effort and desire, so I think a lot of it does come back to coaching. I will never wish ill on their chances to make or to win in the tournament, but I also want the team to earn what it gets, and I just don’t know that this team has earned the dance. If this team does dance, would they just get destroyed and embarrassed from the start of the first game?
Shoutout to Indiana Hockey 🚨 🏒 2024 D2 ACHA National Champs 💯
Honestly the way we have played doesn't feel like we deserve to get in. Just my 2 cents worth even though I am an IU fan.
Tournament???? This team is not making the one that matters!!!
Uh statistically speaking, yes still a chance. But context and trend wise in losing 4/5 it is not going in the right direction. This podcast sounds like an underperforming sales rep explaining his potential pipeline to his boss with 2 weeks to go in the quarter.
