Robber's Cave (locally known as Guchhupani), located near Sahasradhara (thousand fold spring), is a river cave formation in Himalaya, located approximately 8 km from the centre of Dehradun City in the Uttarakhand state of India.
The cave is about 600 metres long and divided into two main parts. The cave has the highest fall of about 10 metres. In the central part, there is a fort wall structure which is now broken. It consists of an extremely narrow gorge formed in a conglomerate limestone area on Doon Valley's Dehra plateau.
It is a natural cave formation where rivers flow inside the cave. The place is a popular tourist spot and is now being maintained by Uttarakhand State. Local bus services are available up to Anarwala Village, from where it is a kilometre's trek away.
The city is known for its pleasant climate and provides a gateway to the popular hill stations like Nainital, Mussoorie etc. and pilgrim sites like Haridwar and Rishikesh. The city receives high amounts of rain during the monsoon season and gets really cold during the winters. Being a part of the Princely Garhwal State the local customs of the Garhwali people have influenced the culture in the city. Here are the top 10 places that you must visit on your trip to Dehradun.

I have visited this place with my school friends in year 2006. That time this place was much more beautiful and natural.
The water level was terrific and it submerged my body till chest level.
I visited this place in year 2013 last time and after that never visited this place. I am living in Dehradun since 25 years and it was one of my favourite place to visit in my school days. Today, your video shows me another level of this place, too crowdy, too much infra and facilities developed for tourist. It's good and bad both.
I really miss those days of doon , when it was really less crowdy and more natural.
@Aditi i also planned to visit gucchu pani with my relatives this Sunday after so many years. I was so excited untill when I saw It was too crowd there and cars were parked 2 km before gucchu pani. Traffic jam started before 1 km. My relatives car stuck in traffic and there was no room for parking so we all came back without visiting the place. I still wonder , is this the same place where when I visited for first time , there were hardly 6-7 people ...
Doons tourist places are becoming too much crowdy.
Visited 3 months back, I have never seen such dirty crowdy, unhygienic place. Maybe it was good in earlier time.
