I'm so flattered that you made any of this! I really appreciate the video interpretations! I thought about it and, I'm not gonna correct anything, I think it's fun to let the imagination go crazy. (Also Mikey did not die in this section)
LET'S GO MIKEY!!!
MIKEY GANG!
Quick question, if this series gets big enough would you possibly be able too make like animatronic dinos just like there heads but still. I speak for alot of people when I say I wanna see a animatronic quetzalcoatlus head eat microraptpr. Also when this is all done and over would you consider selling the props from this series? I would love to buy the mikey prop or even the deinonychus hand puppet
OH THANK GOD
WERE SO BARAK
I hate how the deinonychus’ “voice” gets deeper when it says “it’s ok” compared to the higher pitch “daddy” it’s terrifying
Why does it remind me of that Chimera-hybrid-thing from Fullmetal Alchemist??? 😭
Daddy 😂
According to Villains Wiki they are Unidentified Troodontids
Animals being able to mimic human sounds is something that I think doesn't get utilized much when it comes any piece of horror media that involves deadly animals.
I think that with the skinwalker trend the trope has been kinda beaten into the ground but when it's done well it's one of the best tropes you can employ
@@TheRageBaiteryeah
I think the only other horror media I've seen a vocal mimic used in is the movie Dragonfly, where a parrot announces the presence of it's owner 💜 Gave me chills
@@SiriPsychopompalso the bear from annihilation

I know Mike is a prop , but he seems like a chill pet to have around
I know
I was thinking that, I want one
We all want our own Mike.
#justice4mikey
He's like the best parts of a pet bird and a dog.
Its the most hilarious thing to me that despite all the horror happening with the dinos. Arch just decides Mikey was pet material. Fits well with humans historically picking medium sized carnivores as pets
Sometimes ya just gotta have those fun parts mixed in w the horror. Good for the palette 👍
If not for pets, why friend-shaped?
“These creatures were here before us, and if we’re not careful they’re going to be here after us.”

The Jurassic World Series is doubted by many but it has a lot of hard ass quotes
Oh yeah as if birds returned to their roots
Dude, That's a good cool for the series
Parrots and crows are known for mimicking voices, so the fact this dinosaurs being able to do it is horryfing but plausible
i thought that said COWS and i was scared
I hate and love how this works
It probably because bird are ancestors of dinosaur.
It’s not only birds. There’s a species of cat called the margay which is known to mimic the calls of monkeys to lure other monkeys closer to it. There’s also unconfirmed accounts of tigers doing something similar.
@@hamishstewart5324just wait until the smillodon mimics a crying child…
Human instinct literally went from: “I don’t know what that is, I’m scared, I’m going to kill it” to: “I don’t know what that is, I’m scared, can it be my pet?”
One thing that I like about the dinosaur mimicking the word “open” is that it means it observed humans (or killed enough humans trying to escape it) long enough to understand that humans would associate the word “open” with the door. It’s like how dogs know “sit” means to sit down, even though they don’t know English, but recognize the sound of the word and that it’s associated with sitting.
Mikey was the fucking MVP, he sacrificed his life for someone he met the same day, true selflessness.
We don't know that

Dino toe beans?
"Yeah, that's my neighbor's mutilated body. Those things definitely killed and ate him. And I 90% believe these dinos are sneaking into my house. I just need a sign to leave immediately." - Archer.
we need more dinosaur args and other horror media (games, analog horror, etc) its a great concept that could show what actually would happen if dinosaurs came back to life, no ingen, no john hammond, just wild dinosaurs roaming the world.
dont get me wrong, im a huuuge JW fan. but i just want something about wild dinosaurs roaming the earth, like primeval
@@sillygoofygoober74 Agreed, that's what Jurassic World Dominion could have been. But it was still a good movie.
@@thefish2020agreed
@@sillygoofygoober74 hear me out primeval inspired Arg or analog horror type shit
yes
The deinonychus is saying; “don’t worry, don’t worry, it’s okay, open.”
I think the weird lights are likely space-time anomalies like in Primeval series (in which creatures from different time periods and even from other worlds appeared through weird lights like portals)
i actually think its supposed to be animals escaped from a genetic lab, considering the author's twitter has a lot of posts about being against genetic modification, and why the police havent shown up, the genetic lab was possibly funded by the government and the police were taught to not do something about it.
@@QuadratusTiberium it actually does though.
To be fair genetic modification and cloning are things im also iffy on so ill let it slide
It could also be, like you said, a lab experiment, but instead, it's time travel or displacement gone completely out of control, and the people with guns are soilders of somesort from another time.
@@Joe-real-if it WAS time travel and displacement gone wrong, why would only dinosaurs appear? Why are there no deinotheriums or dodos or gorgonopsids? This is why i think its cloning. I mean, what prehistoric animals do most people wanna see alive?
I loved primeval its one of the main reasons I’m so invested in prehistoric animals
That microraptor in the dog bed is so cute I love it
I don't know if Arch is British, but the lights, which are likely where the creatures come from, remind me a lot of the anomalies from the British TV show "Primeval". In that show, a variety of prehistoric and future animals come into our time through similar shining portals.
If he goes the extra mile and actually makes this series set IN the Primeval universe, therefore giving us an unofficial Series 6, I'm going to give this guy all my money
The rumbling Tyrannosaurid has been confirmed by Archesuchus in an out-of-story comment to be a _Zhuchengtyrannus magnus_ (a Chinese cousin of T. rex) rather than an actual proper _Tyrannosaurus rex,_ though the distinction would likely matter little to anyone being chased by it.
Additionally, Mikey is a proper _Microraptor gui_ (fossilized feathers tell us they were iridescent black like modern crows), and the smaller dinos that were fighting over the neighbor child's leftover foot might actually be the babies of the "Deinonychus".
UPDATE EDIT: the main dinosaur that started this thread, the one most think is a Deinonychus, is actually an unknown/fictional species of large Troodontid, which is why they're so dang smart & able to mimic voices like corvids (Troodontids have the largest brain to body size ratios of any known non-avian dinosaur, so much so that it's commonly believed that if the KT extinction event hadn't occurred at least one species of Troodontid would've eventually evolved human-level intelligence).
thats actually terrifying
@justarandompepe8961 apparently these intelligent troodontids actually have had their tongues and vocal cords surgically altered in order to be able to perform opera. All the rage in Hollow Earth...or the deep cavern worlds that are called Hollow Earth, Agartha etc....
Troodontids are actually known as stenonychosaurs
I remember the only reason I saw the last Jurassic World movie was because the dinosaurs had escaped into the rest of the world- as in, beaches and suburban neighborhoods, frickin EVERYWHERE- and I was so excited to see what that would look like. Of course, we got like two seconds of it at the beginning and then it turned into some weird message about saving the dinosaurs (cue Michael Crichton rolling in his grave). This unfiction series is so, so awesome for not only doing what those movies failed to do, but turning up the horror element because holy crap, this would be the most terrifying thing on Earth. Also the dinosaurs that mimic human speech are effing scary. Nonhuman things mimicking human speech scares the everliving daylights out of me. Gives me the creeps- in the best way.
One day I hope companies and studios can finally look at stuff like this, and make something amazing. Maybe not today or the next day or the days after that day, but one day.
The bright lights are from an old series called "Primeval"
Where a rag tag team of scientists (I think) had to deal with anomalies from past and future bringing out all sorts of creatures, Dinos included.
16:11 i think the dino was using mikey as another bait like the feathers, leaving him too injured to move but just alive enough to be heard, possibly to lure him into the attic
7:36 it’s either a tyrannosaur or a fucked up carcharadontosaur
While in the most likely case it’s one of the big five tyrannosaurs Tyrannosaurus, Zhuchengtyrannus, Tarbosaurus, Daspletosaurus or Albertosaurus (leaning towards Tarbosaurus or Daspletosaurus)
The digital world (much like the real world), are home to many scary stories, but Dinosaur horror is definitely one of the top scariest (behind anomalies, ghosts, aliens, and demons of coarse). Jurassic Park analog horror is definitely a great topic to explore in a future video
A lot of the book actually plays out like an analog horror with the computer screen display text being translated to page
To be honest I am starting to hate it because it's like making sharks terrifying killing machines like in Jaws knowing they are animals who wouldn't attack just by nonsense or to kill more than needed, why don't people make good documentals that show how natural and animalistic were dinosaurs instead of exaggerated media making them monsters.
Don’t you just hate it when dinosaurs are in your ceiling 😒
Like it happens to me all the time, I even have to put traps up there.
In all seriousness tho this is my favorite twitter horror story.
Move over the sun vanished, hello weird birds!
Yeah, I’m pretty sure the thing(s) in my ceiling aren’t dinosaurs. They make a weird wailing noise at night, like a drill in wood.
I'm in your ceiling
Please get out, then.
@@Gerpbros
The size of the "Raptors" more-likely suits Utahraptor Ostrommaysorum or Dakotaraptor Steinei than Deinonychus Antirophus they weren't as tall, just judging by their hight in the window pic, also Dakotaraptor lived in the same time and place as Tyrannosaurus Rex. Great horror story 🤩.
This is like the sun vanished but with dinosaurs
Reminded me of that too, same with the flying triangle thing in the sun vanished
1:25 I believe it’s closer to a utahraptor
They’re bigger than a polar bear while deinon is much shorter than a person.
We can see it looking through the window at roughly head height of a person that’s a little shorter than a real utahraptor
Considering how ravens, parrots and seals can mimic human speech, I ain’t surprised that these Dino’s are also up to mimicry.
Seals?
@@Baryonyxguy8 Ye seals can mimic humans as well. Allow me to introduce you, to Hoover the talking seal: ruclips.net/video/XfqiEGYEQoQ/видео.htmlsi=RNDwFpiYhVdCywTu at 1:30, 3:25, 12:38, and 29:38 you can hear him speak.
To me the voice mimics is not just scary but interesting concept meaning that they are “evolving” to human intelligence and meaning they are adapting to the human thinking process, an almost sounding like a robotic voice along with force and seems to be close to wendigo side which meaning that is…”integrating” and I hope to hear more about this in part 3 my friend and keep up the good work.
Correction, after watching more, the fact they now have perfect speech, is now becoming crazy and down right chilling mean it’s an issues
Sound mimicry does not equal human intelligence lmao
This is BY FAR the most creative horror story I have seen in YEARS

"there's dinosaurs in my ceiling"
that is an amazing line for no fuckin' reason.
7:40 i’m not gonna lie, that jaw looks too lean to be a t-Rex to me. However, my first guess is very incorrect because it was originally a Carnitor. I think this might be an allosaurus because of the upper jaw being much smaller as well. Allosaurus are pack hunters as well, so this is even more terrifying
9:20 yeah, that’s too small to be a T-Rex that’s a fucking allosaurus or a small large Therapod. Not a therizinosaurus as that thing is 33 feet tall, this Hass to be like a juvenile Allosaur, and considering there was already a high likelihood that there was a pack, considering they are pack. Hunters, it being a juvenile makes it a freaking certainty There is at least one more.
14:52 bro got a pet micro raptor
Gonna toss my hat into the proverbial ring about the big dino- it's probably a sub-adult T. Rex. They fill a different niche ecologically than grown rexes, being faster and pursuit-based rather than sneaking up on prey like the adults. If anything, this fella's probably trying grown-up hunting for the first time.
Also, RIP Mikey. He could indeed have a little salami as a treat.
Maybe the big dino is a ceratosaurus
@@Idfkidc-p2o Also possible!
If I remember right, that’s not a rex, it’s a different tyrannosaur (not a Tarbosaurus either)
@StillStupidStillDumb2834 maybe a gorgosaurus
@@Idfkidc-p2o I think he said zhuchengtyrannus (I think that’s how it’s spelled)
I would love to see this concept adapted to a movie. Could you imagine a movie that’s like Home Alone x You’re Next x Jurassic Park? I would watch that movie over and over again.
Also R.I.P Mikey 🫡

@@Corvus_Brachyrhynchos :0 LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Honestly So glad you’re covering this series, it’s awesome to see someone to cover something horror dinosaur related. Arch has really something special. Also regrading the huge thing whether it’s a tyrannosaur. I don’t think it is. Because it has bumps on its skin which is more common in another group of theropod called abelisaurids which includes Carnotaurus and Majungasaurus
As a fan of both horror and paleontology, this "Weird Birds" arg is hyping me up so much. I hope you will continue to cover it.
The fact that this also spawned a whole genre of dino horror on the web is really telling and I'm surprised almost nobody is covering it right now.
This would also translate quite well to a movie if done correctly.
the moment i saw the light pictures, i immediately thought of the show Primeval- a British sci-fi show from 2007-2011 (one of my favs from my time as a young child that wanted to be a paleontologist) and the premise was a team sent out to investigate temporal anomalies throughout the UK, and these anomalies allowed creatures from the past and future to come through. it was super interesting, and this feels like a revamp of this idea. i love it
Extrapolating from the silhouette, the "big bird" has a noticeably smaller body and shorter head than what is typical for T. Rex but seems to almost perfectly match that of another Tyrannosaurid named Lythronax. At least that's how I see it.
Birds mimicking voices is already weird enough, but something that large and intelligent using it as a hunting strategy is absolutely mortifying.
,Mama I don’t understand it grilled cheese Obama sandwich, 😂 bro, that had me Rollin
The fact Arch continued after this is crazy.
I feel like that big rumbling dinosaur might be acrocanthosaurs, since deinonychus is in the mix, just my assumptions, but a big ass charcarodontosaurid is just the right thing for a big rumbling bellow. Also that “ t-rex back shot” was actually the shot of a sauropod, further proving my acrocanthosaurus predictions, also DM muted, love ur vids!, also that dino in MI is a proceratosaurs I believe, either that or guanlong, also, I have a feeling depending on where these portals open up, dinosaurs from those regions will appear, so for example if it was in South America, carno and pagotitan would show up, but in Montana T rex and trike would show up, that’s just my theory anyways.
Maybe an allo
good assumption, however i think it's arms might be a bit small, who knows.@@Idfkidc-p2o
I’d prefer a carcharodontosaur or megaratorian(I know it’s spelt wrong) over a trex any day
I stand by t rex,the picture look exactly like it and the whole silent footsteps thing is actually from Rex
While most people are expecting it to be the Rex, I have a gut feeling Arche is cooking something up
VERY glad you not only did the original coverage but a sequel! I greatly love how you format and present information to make it digestible, love watching these. Keep up the great work!
i am absolutely in love with this series, thank you for covering it!
I’m so glad you decided to do a sequel, I really enjoyed your first video on weird birds

Edit: i just now realized the protals might be a reference to primeval
If I don't see a Dinosaur singing Grilled Cheese Obama Sandwich in the ARG, I'm not watching it

the amount of goosebumps and chills I'm getting , maybe cause I'm wearing headphones, maybe because your voice , maybe because the audio , but either way , another fire video
Ive been super excited for this vid since ive seen the first one, great work!
This is some of the coolest shit ive ever seen! It gives me a lot of ideas about dinosaurs in the modern day and I want to thank you for spreading the good word of Mikey!
Very cool to see you cover this again
The fake speech to me sounds like the alternates in the mandela catalogue. Also that dromeasaurid is appears to be taller than arch, so its probably utahraptor hell maybe even dakotarpator since deinonchuys isn’t that bug
the mark of well-written horror, imo, is being able to dissect the reality of the situation while still having it illicit horror in the viewer.
we know those are just props. you even mention it. but still, every time a voice recording comes on, or a low-res image is captured (see: the deinonychus head in the attic), it still manages to raise the hair on the back of my neck.
_excellent_ work.
one of my favourite things about the deinonychus in this is that they sound exactly like how crows and ravens do when speaking, and now whenever I hear corvid speech I can't not think about child eating dinosaurs, thank you Arche!! Also im 99% sure all those wheezes, squawks and eye reflections in the roof were from more Mikeys as it sounded more like Mikey than the vocalizations the deinonychus has made in the past, hopefully they remain friendly!
14:52 Yi-Qi! The only sink-winged dinosaur we know of!
Awww it’s so cute!
Or nevermind…looks like a micro raptor.
The whole light-portal thing makes me think of Primeval, an old BBC show about dinosaurs (and Future Predators) coming to the modern day via glowing portals that look like broken glass and cause electronic interference.
Is neat, even if accidental.
16:35 woke me up so fucing quick
Crackpot theory, what if this is literally the plot of Dino Squad where the main dude causing this is just a dinosaur pretending to be a human and is trying to bring back his species and wipe out every other animal.
I'm not a paleontologist but after seeing the photos of the large dino (specificaly the photo of the body) I think it might be a Tarbosaurus.
Or yutyrannus
@@Glunked true
This gives me Primeval vibes, and that's amazing
That “somebody” “please help” I had another experience I’ve only had with Mandela catalogue, and oracle, I was so afraid I started to cry and be covered in chills, legit panicking 😳😨
This really reminds me of TheSunVanished, and I really like TSV, so I like this too tbh. Also great content Dmuted!
>Dinosaurs entering modern day through portals that look light large lights
OH HELL YEAH!
Primeval finally getting its long awaited reboot!
First of all, thanks for covering this series! I don’t take Twitter and I don’t want to get one, so your videos covering and voice acting to it is how im able consume it, so thanks!
Also I don’t think you would worry about calling the big dinosaur a t. Rex, is a fair assumption to make given that it is the best known big bipedal dinosaur (theropod), and they all look mostly the same.
The photo Arch’s friend send him might be of a Dilophosaurus given the head crest, which if is correct it’s Horrifying, those beast are big, bigger than the ones Arch is dealing with.
And one last thing! The video uploaded to RUclips, that one is interesting because is not like the mimicry the dinosaurs in arch neighborhood have been doing, the last words of its victims, it feels like casual conversation heard in passing, which could mean this things have been just passively observing for a while.
This has some STRONG TheSunVanished energy
This series is refreshing to see! I’m so happy that talented people, driven only by their love for the craft, are doing what Hollywood won’t. A authentic dark story that shows the wider public what can be done with modern interpretations of these animals instead of what we’ve all seen. Make no mistake, I’m as much of a JP fan as the next guy, but can’t we just say with complete confidence that the rinse and repeat action heavy creature features are dominating the market?
*Before the edgy awesomebros come at me, let me clarify that I’m not talking about the creature design quality, I adore seeing prehistoric animals being designed both as modern animals and 90’s style Chaos Effect monsters. I’m just referring the types of stories dinosaurs are featured in.*
While I’m pretty certain the ‘Deinonychus’ as the community calls it is correct, I like to believe it is a Dakotaraptor and the remaining ‘raptors that attack Arch in the climax are sub adults or juveniles of various age and size. Totally headcanon, but it’s fun. Can’t wait to see how Arch tackles the rest of the series.
abiut the start bro. weve all been there but u never need to push yourself
Been waiting for this
14:00 The implications of this are terrifying. If the person is hunched over, it could be a deinonychus holding up a corpse.
That's what i thought
the way Im interpreting it is that this is an AU where dinos were never on earth, this is a modern day humanity where they just appeared out of thin air and are now clashing to live together, like jurassic world but unintentional or hidden from the public, which is why I liked you referring to them as monsters and MC referring to them as such as well because they don't know what a "dinosaur" is, kinda like walkers and zombies
The Dino his friend saw was a Dilophosaurus, they have the crest on their head like that and are much bigger then how Jurassic Park depicts them
I believe that the large therapod might be a Acrocanthosaurus since it lived in the early Cretaceous period with the microraptor and deinonychus or maybe it is a tyrannosaurus and I’m taking this to seriously
well i enjoy the quality of these so youve got my sub!
Fun fact: keeping the body in the tree would not keep it away from the microraptors as they can fucking glide.
The issiue with Twitter horror is the fact that somehow the person surviving can not contact help or other information
From my dino-knowledge, 18:37 looks like some kind of proceratosaurid dinosaur. The group that has Guanlong, for example!
It could also be a monolophosaurus but that's far-fetched.
If a giant bird calls you daddy, you have bigger problems than the giant bird
It's cool to see mimicry used to such horrifying effect. I had a similar idea, and i think of that fucking bear from Annihilation when I think of mimicry used to lure prey.
Anyway, this would make an excellent miniseries. It would be such a treat to see accurate dinosaurs in a setting that suited them and got to show them off without sacrificing realism.
Something that this makes me think of is the BBC show Primeval from I think 2007. Anomalies cropping up around the world allowing creatures from throughout all time (including the future) to cross through these rifts.
YES THE PART 2
YESSS! A part 2! I love this!
* me looking at a t rex in my backyard * damn bro thats a weird fuckin cat
Help their a stegosaurus in my basement no wait NOOOOOO "I am a stegosaurus"
If it was mimicking what it's victims said "it's ok" and "I'm not gonna hurt you" is a lot sadder :(
Maybe there's a science experiment gone wrong and they accidentally summon multiple time portals to the past, causing the wildlife to venture out into the modern unfamiliar world, and the armed forces venture out to hunt down the escaped animals and close any portals they could find. This kinda reminds me of both the movie, The Mist, where Project Arrowhead experiment develops a window that allow everyone to view an alien world, but when the thunderstorm hit, the window created a portal that forced the alien fauna to escape and into another world along with the mist, and at the end of the movie, the military successfully hunt down and kill off the aliens, and presumably closed the portal, causing the Mist to dissipate.
I like the scene with microraptor!
This arg is going to be something I will try to keep my eye on and best of luck to it's Creator and participants
Something about a raptor saying daddy makes me laugh like hell
luckily I am a dinosaur expert and I do indeed think it's tyrannosaurus, it's either that or tarbosaurus
Considering the Size measurements it's probably a T.Rex.
Hear me out, allosaurus
@@gregcervantes9268 Nah, the arms are two small, and two fingered, and the head is too long, it's probably a T-rex
@@smipner-yq2ot okay, albertosaurus?
@@gregcervantes9268 Maybe, it is a possibility, any large tyrannosaur could work for this, I'm gonna keep my guess of tyrannosaurus, just because I think it's a bit too big to be an albertosaurus, but albertosaurus is a possibility.
The part about portals remindes me of series called Primaval, an british series made by BBC were there are anomalies that are space-time portals that make prehistoric animals come in our age, the portals are like light bolbs.
Yeah! I am happy your doing another review of this I love the idea of dinosaurs during modern times
R.I.P Mikey, you are a hero
That Dinosaur in Michigan is without a doubt a dilophosaurus. Those crests give it away
