Hey dude, you should change the profile photo to something more modern. I promise you will get more subs. The profile photo doesn't even resemble you at all, it's a little confusing.
Yeah if the customer is aware but thinks it might be a console then 1. They are putting themselves at risk by possibly opening a packaging that is actually meant to be cared for professionally thinking it was a console. 2. Even though it should act as a deterrent for thieves. Most common thieves wouldn't be aware of what the code means, and may just attempt to steal it anyways thus not doing what it should lol.
It appears that they’re taking advantage of free supplies, which results in shipping getting more expensive for the rest of us. People do this all the time with the USPS boxes. If you’re that desperate for free supplies, you need to take another look at your business model. Professionalism 📉
It was UPC, so 1. They probably just got a bunch of boxes from the UPC office not noticing they had boxes for specific purposes. 2. They are in the business of shipping other stuff, and something got mixed up. Those would be my best guesses.
For someone who was so worried about this thing being some sort of chemical weapon, the choice to plug it in a turn it on in the normal shooting space is hilarious.
The issue i have with them sending the wrong console is say you were a collector wanting to have each console for display purposes and you get sent a console you already have lol
6:08 All versions of the OEM power supplies for Xbox 360's have fans in them, the difference is that they're actually good quality and don't need to run at full speed just to keep the power supply cool.
The emulator for og Xbox lives on partition 2 of the hdd. It was possible to flash the security sectors with a dos tool (hddhacker)to make a western digital into one of the sizes Microsoft released for the 360. Then all you had to do was copy the partition 2 emulator files with fatxplorer to the new drive and everything works fine. Bonus points if you put it in an official shell.
That's what I did to my stock Jasper. I have an RGH 3.0 slim that has a Crucial 128 GB SSD since modded systems support any HDD/SSD. And it's in the original HDD shell.
Actually I think what happened, since the HDD is only 60 gigabytes, is that this is indeed an OEM x360 HDD, They just took it out of a dead fat, and put it into an aftermarket case. It makes no financial sense to hunt down a 60 gig WD hdd, when for no money at all you can get joblots of the 500 gig, and then you have a 500 gig console to sell.
Yeah I know what you mean. My guess is that the inside of the controller is dirty and it’s causing random button presses. I’ve had that issue on a lot of ps3 controllers
@@jrob0021 it was so weird tho cuz when I pressed square it would do RB button prompts and not square prompts. I swear they opened the controller and wired it wrong I returned it
Technically, if the consoles isn't modded with RGH, the HDD should be original, but from the XB phat, they only repurposed it with the slim case 🤔 (I know there's a way to make the counterfeit HDD for the xb360, but it's highly unlikely somebody has a PC so old to run the DOS commands)
Hard drive could be an OEM drive, I did it with a 20GB drive from a fat console. Open up the fat HD enclosure, remove 2.5inch hard drive, buy replacement slim case, install OEM hard drive, insert into slim console.
Wouldn't be a bad idea especially if you combined the story with the gaming tabloid from the early 2000s that claimed Sony was working with biotechnology to make a living breathing console
It's an organics remains box. Oh wait, it has an Xbox 360 with a controller. Oh wait, it's a SLIM Xbox 360 and an OEM controller! From bad to awesome in a few minutes.
My question is not why they sent it in that box but how they got a box like that in the first place considering that they sell consoles and stuff unless they do that so they ship with care but idk still very sus
But, of course, dust is composed of dead human and animal cells, amongst other things. (Perhaps that's the biohazard?). By rights that box should be used to send out Resident Evil games. (Biohazard being it's original name, etc?). Just some thoughts. LOL. [Maybe it was packed and sent out by a zombie and that's the biohazard?].
Just bought a 360 again after owning all the new ones...best aesthtic and most paradigm shifting retro-modrrn console. I'll always keep one in my gaming library from now on.
I just got a nearly untouched 2012 slim with 250gb hard drive and gamestop knock off controller for $90 CAD total. It runs great, super clean, pawn shop buy.
They sell aftermarket cases for hard drives so it's possible they did what I did with my 120 gig which is take the original case off and put the slim case on
I really want to get a new Xbox 360 but right now market is full of this "retro stores" with overpriced consoles . 50-70 bucks is fine for used Xbox 360 but not 200-300 . I have doubts they are spending 100-150 bucks on refurbishing .
They could have moved a partition from a oem hdd to a new drive (can’t remember exactly how it’s done) but I did this with my Xbox360 E and added a 500gb drive.
I did it too with an old laptop hard drive that I put in my 360 back in the day. Don't remember how its done either but I was also smarter back in 2008 lol.
Video idea can you do a different video with the same Xbox 360 like this at but for the video what happens when you put foreign disc in to a refurbished Xbox 360
Lol this is funny, if you run a store and have an account with ups or FedEx and ship out a number amount of items, you get free shipping boxes from ups and FedEx, you will just have to order them, I just expect the store ordered the wrong boxes from ups or ups gave them the wrong boxes and the store didn't care and used them.
It's not a slim, as slims did not have a "Built in 4GB" HDD, looks more like an Xbox 360 E Console, as it doesn't have that beautiful chrome either.. who knows, would love to see the model# or the version of the xbox though, but I've truly never seen a slim ,non chrome, or with a 4GB internal
Looks like I am wrong on the color, but Matte, not chromatic? Disgusting. Imho, and honestly Im probably wrong on the storage too, I should grab my 360 from the closet and see xD
Considering the Box wasn't full of Anthrax, I think they went easy on you, plus you got a Slim... With a knockoff PS, fake HDD aaaand a good OEM controller. What else do you want? RGH and Aurora?
A box is a box but question is where was it located in the ship container or truck like with remains .. looks like they was shipping the dirty console as it was and what ever nasty was there was sent to you
I recently refurbished my website, check it out: www.jrobgaming.com
Can I order a refurbished website from JR Oldies
@@haxel360 unfortunately no
@Jacob R they probably put it in a biological sample box to detour thieves I might be giving them to much credit though.

@@jrob0021 aw man
If you really think about it, the box isn't that bad. It keeps people from stealing it and hides the good stuff inside the box.
true, but they should let the customer in on it lol

@@jrob0021ah yes, dropshipping but still being desperate for money
The joke of “remains to be inspected “ box because they knew you were gonna inspect it. That’s just classy.
The fact that they ship a Xbox 360 with a box for human or animal remains is strange but why do they have it in the first place
It was UPC, so

UPC?

The box is actually a good troll from the company.
"We're going to take this to the woods" 🤣
I find it funny how so many of these companies don’t even do the minimum of formatting a console before shipping it.

It's actually kinda smart to stop package theft who's going to steal a package that say that on it
The box kinda discourages customers. But all it does make is people cutting cornors where they're supposed to be in the first place.
My friend got me a ps3 controlling from RetroVGames and it's weird to explain but it was like they somehow wired the square button to RB

As someone who lives in Allentown Pennsylvania, it does not at all surprise me that you were sent a potential biohazard
bro really said "Ambient W and 006"
I ate a burger while watching this, 10/10
The true biohazard was really just the friends we made along the way
This console does not come from Pennsylvania, it comes from Transylvania.
bro as a ex ups employee they the type of ppl to be like we out of normal boxes take dis.
Jacob, I live in the suburbs of Allentown. I’ll go do some investigation for you
They definitely trolled you
Yeh lol
All the years of finger juice on the controller and console are biohazard.
They stuck it in that box because they probably now know that you'd be opening the console and investigating it...
What a weird and scary way to ship something. Hopefully you didn't get sick after handling that console and package!

Bruh Joey is getting his revenge
Joey is the good guy in this scenario lol, retrovgames is much worse than dkoldies
I mean, if they’re dropshipping it then it makes sense that an eBay seller just recycled that box, then they just recycled it forward to you.

It would be funny if Fiber came on here and commented why he got rid of his box and things
Lmao, we are out in the wilderness now 😂😂😂😂
The biohazards are inside the console
I get the feeling that these people are bad on purpose
I guarantee they sent it in that box to troll you.
At the junkyard, i've seen that biohazard label, but that's only cause people have died in cars during car accidents
I like how he spends thousands of dollars on consoles that just end up in being trash at the end

"The living Xbox 360"
Wouldn't be a bad idea especially if you combined the story with the gaming tabloid from the early 2000s that claimed Sony was working with biotechnology to make a living breathing console
how would an xbox SCP be like?
would it convince you that you are an xbox?
Would it simply play everything?
Would it do both?
They take out the HD from an og xbox and put in that cinese slim enclosure, i did that myself sometimes

that 60gb HDD is legit it came from a older 360 they did a case swap so it would slid in the newer 360
omg the neck air conditioner is so cool😮😮
First thing I thought of was, no way An OG 360 fit inna box like that.
The phat 360 had a 60gb hard drive, soo it's possible that the hard drive that they sent you is using a third party case.
I've used a non OEM hard drive on my 360 and you can play OG Xbox games if you "restore" partition 2 on it.
Bro is complaining about a box, are you serious?
They sell aftermarket cases for hard drives so it's possible they did what I did with my 120 gig which is take the original case off and put the slim case on
The UPS guy is looking differently at you now...
That hard drive is oem they took it from a fat 360 and put it in an aftermarket hard drive shell to use it in slim, i have done that myself
You were making my teeth itch with opening the bubble wrap while wearing latex gloves, that squeaking was excruciating.
That box is crazy - why would you do that and why did they have that box in the first place.
Still got my old Jasper in the closet. Worked great.
I see it has POST OUT traces and removable 4GB drive...
Perfect unit for RGH3 modding.
The stains are from bodily fluids of the sacrifice made for this 360 . 😈
