Yes, I drove from Seattle, Washington to San Francisco and stopped by my friend's live in Oakland and stayed his home for 4 days. My friend took me to tour San Francisco Bay Area. He showed me about Alcatraz Island but it was not open yet because in 1984 that time. So you're lucky to have open at Alcatraz Island tour. Anyway, I drove from Seattle, Washington to San Francisco to Los Angeles, California to Las Vegas, NV to Phoenix, AZ to Shiprock, NM, to Texas and many more states back to New York City where I live. I drove from west to east for one month and 10 days by myself drove. it was good memories. Back in 1984.
I already watch movie true story Alcatraz 4 guys try escape. 3 escape and police never find 2 guys. 1 death . 1 person stay jail for life until old age death . Never find 2 guys escape. That’s crazy. True story. Interest . Old time old fashioned jail as hell .
I dislike that place. Haunted stronger and so much negative there. I don't like. But I already touch that place before. Sorry I don't like that building. But sad two drowning during swim, and other try swim to California state. Two died drowning because of they try make boat but not work plan. They decided to swimming in coldest water of island Alcatraz. 😊 also one man did burn himself to died. Sad story.
