Jesus was definitely in the midst during this performance! This was so beautiful to behold! Thank you for this event and for every human being who performed, organized, produced and filmed.
Amazing!! Great job to all the bands that participated.
Yes! Great job to all the bands
This was beautiful to witness!
They did AWESOME! Great show!
True bandsman that sounds beautiful as it appears
EXCELLENT SOUND
they are one !!!!!!
Them babies can SANG!! And they all harmonized too!!! 😁
Of course, they harmonized. They read and play music on instruments. Using their on voice is Using the instrument God has given all of us. Our voices.
That was beautiful !!!
Love this!
I've got chills!
Beautiful!
This is the best I have ever heard
Then you need to hear the Marching 100 play this I am not bragging. Just facts 🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍❤❤❤❤❤
its different but leave it to Florida A&M University , This Song Suppose To Bring Emotional Through The Crowd With Pure Tone, Balance, Blend, Intonation, Musicality. Applause To Every Band Member In That Mass Band For Playing The Music, But Playing Music Is Not Enough, Bringing Music TO Life And Let It Speaks Matters
I agree but another problem was Poor Phrasing and lack of Characteristic Tones throughout.
This was not played well. Sound like they took FAMU’s arrangement and tried to remix it. The chords were off
Good job guys !
P.S Percussion shouldnt be heard on this piece at all( I assume why they had tempo issues) , but overall good job. I like the tuba sound
Crazy thing is I wrote it sooo basic. I don’t know why a lot of them weren’t paying attention. Some of the lines said to hell with the music and watching the conductor 😂
@@teriquefoster9556 dudes were back there playing a cadence
EVERY SONG EACH PLAY SHOULD BE FOR THE GLORY OF GOD 💓✝️ ALL BANDS NEED TO MARCH IN THEE NAME OF JESUS 🙌🏾🤗💓✝️WHAT A BEAUTIFUL SIGHT THAT WOULD BE TO THE FATHER WHO SITS IN HEAVEN WATCHING US FROM ABOVE 🙌🏾💓✝️🕊️👑
Very beautiful: Big Bands huh!
God y’all have a problem with every little thing. One song is not made for one band soo get over y’all selves jesus.
😂😂
In awe!
Mass Band, 👍
That's was 👏 amazing 👏
Sounds good to me😇
Amen
This is a jacked up arrangement. This selection is chorale style and should have been legato and lyrical throughout. FAMU Marching "100" has a very good arrangement of this selection.
This was played about 17 years ago and the arrangement. Was different. The version that was rewritten by Prof Lindsey Sarjent. It was a total of eight bands .The sound was just something you will never forget. God bless them they were praising god. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍
After hearing FAMU play the ‘Blessed’ version of this song for so long, listening to this just sounded a little rough and off.
It was. ASU was playing faster than what it was but then again idk if that was their first time playing. Not saying they was trash or anything that could’ve have possibly been the first time they played it.
Nah bro Asu was on tempo I was there listening in the back I could heard everything and every drum there
As a former Marching 101 member, I agree 100%
PLEASE. Leave this to famu because no
"Partial Praise"
lol
FAMU arrangement???
ABSOLUTELY NOT!
Not even close 🤕
The quality of musicianship in some of these HBCU's bands is questionable????? I think we spend too much time on the wrong things marketing our programs for the wrong people. Music is an art form not a popularity contest. The directors should be accountable for this.
Absolutely agree
For this BOTB who was y’all top 5?
This arrangement is cringey 🥴🥴🥴
🤣😂🤣 they tried to remix FAMU’s arrangement
