No, she was indeed not a pilot. I'm a turnaround coordinator with a vague interest in flying and I could have been far more detailed in the answers and created easily a whole scenario like she was asked to do.

This show has really opened my eyes to how many people are incapable of answering hypothetical questions. I didn’t even know such people existed until I started watching.
It's because a lot of people are "wikipedia" experts. They read about something and recall specific lines from it, but when pressed in a situation where they can't look things up, they don't have answers.

No, she was indeed not a pilot. I'm a turnaround coordinator with a vague interest in flying and I could have been far more detailed in the answers and created easily a whole scenario like she was asked to do.
Maybe she is a pilot (doubt it) but she's incapable of creating a scenario and with that incapable picking her favorite plane to fly.

She’s watched a lot of shows involved in landing or flying. She speaks in generalizations and no specifics. She can’t even put together a scenario in her head. She just keeps saying “so you don’t die.”
When someone says that it sounds like you are just trying to impress people with something you don’t have a clue about except a few words.
Where’d she go flight school? People don’t fly two seaters and then to learn fly jets. It’s a different school. But she acts like she has experience in all of them.
I would expect a real pilot to say, well I’m qualified on…not what kind of plane are we landing?

I got nothing out of what she said. If she's helping me land a plane, planes going down. She is very good at making it seem like she knows what she's talking about but deflects on any details. Like if you asked me how to do farming that I know nothing about but wanted you to think i did be like: Me: "well you got your cows, some chickens, trackers. Yep, that's farming." Guy asking questions: Uh huh but can you give details? Walk me through the process. Me:" well you wake up early and geter done" Guy asking question: You don't know anything about farming, do you? Me:"I got me some pigs." Guy asking questions: ya that's what I thought.
