"I was meant to be new, I was meant to be beautiful. The world would've looked to their screens and seen hope and mercy, but instead they'll look in horror"
According to the Wiki, "The Eminence" is just the name of the lead Watcher Watcher. The other two are called "The Executioner" and "The Incarnate". Also yes, I thought they were going to merge into the Living Tribunal too
On the mech avengers episode it almost hit for me but im surprised how underwhelming the view of them piloting is, it cuts away from potentially some of the coolest parts of its combination to show us everyone hitting the buttons with no big reaction outside of i guess darcy. Why are we putting them in cool combining mecha emblematic of their personalities if they dont seem to care ro be there.
Like it just feels like they didn't have the time to give it that final pass to make that side of the scene feel alive, even if there is a lot of love in the references to the mechanical combining
Quick side note, there are two different exiles team, the X-men one and the multiverse one in the comics as well. The multiverse one was out first and have longer runs than the X based one
I figured the original team put together by the Time broker was the same as the X-men one, just a different roster, but either way thank you for the correction!
i despised it, stiff facial animation, stiff fight scenes, boring characters that act nothing like the mcu characters they’re supposed to be ripping off, it always looked like shit but when its releasing along side creature commandos…. yeah one looks ai animated and the other is an art piece, and thats just the animation, never mind the writing, characters and general interest
This season was for sure underwhelming. One of the issues I had was that the episodes could have built up to them being included in the finale, like the first couple seasons tried to do, But all of a sudden we got “the Exiles” out of nowhere, and while I get it , Captain Carter was there from the beginning etc, I think if they had traversed to only stories where the Watcher actually intervened to get their help, could have worked better as a build up and overarching theme? I also feel like the concepts were over baked and weren’t necessarily “simple” / “easy” ideas. They wanted to do crossovers they knew they wouldn’t get to do with the MCU, which is fair again, But I think it kind of robs the principal of the “what if” scenario. If you look at ‘Doctor Who’, for example: “What if you turned right instead of left and changed your destiny, how would that change the rest of the universe”
I remember seeing storm in the trailer and wondering “how are they going to bring her in?? Is there going to be an X-men episode?” But nah, she’s just there.
My takeaway from this show is that despite being called “What IF?” It really likes to have the same characters.
Fckin Carter show up every time 😒
Went from What If… to Why Tho…

The Cosmic Convergence was a plot point from Thor: The Dark World
Thank you for the correction! I genuinely would’ve never put those together because my first and only thought was of the Disney Hercules movie
Yeah, I've lost sleep over Creature Commandos too. Mostly because I spent an entire night sobbing after episode 4 emotionally curb stomped me.
FOR REAL

I really hope it gets a sequel series in the future
3:04 oh no.... If there's one example of poor budget management it's still frames. I'm getting flashbacks from the game developer "Game Mill". 😖
Yea, showing a samurai ghost rider or Weapon X Thanos is wild.
I was hoping for the three watchers to be revealed as the living tribunal
I just freakin put the connection between iron heart vs mysterio smh

@@Sandwichreviewsforthesoul biggest miss ever tbh. They KNOW the fans love storm, why would they NOT make an episode starring her?
What if... Disney made it about Captain Carter and her feminist propaganda?
Hahaha calm down incel 😂
