I love this song so much because ever since I was in a car accident I've had issues with hearing voices in my head, and just when I think I'm about to snap, this song ALWAYS comes on my Pandora, making me remember. There are much worse monsters I can face. I just want to say, THANK YOU TRYHARDNINJA FOR MAKING THIS SONG! Without it, I'd be in a much worse place. Thank you so very much. I don't think anyone will be able to understand what this song means to me.

This song is just a comfort in general, a reminder that my Anxiety cannot become physical beings and harm me, how my nightmares may scare me or the world may be scary, but everything will eventually calm and be alright. Even if I have to fight many sleepless nights and long painful days. I know I am young, only 18, but this Is always going to be a song of comfort, and to think this was for a horror game franchise i also grew up alongside, it feels surreal to imagine a world without this song, or the franchise it came from, I would probably of never met my lover. I like to imagine that a depressed and somewhat insane Henry gets sung this by the spirit of Charlotte each night, making sure he gets some rest. I mainly base it of the novels, but I just imagine that after Charlottes death her spirit follows her father everywhere, making sure he’s okay, she’s like a little friendly ghost. I also imagine that the little ghost of a Charlotte helps Henry to come out of his madness, to stop using the illusion discs and to cease his work.

I’ve been listening to this since it first came out and I still come back and listen to it, I can technically say that for literally any fnaf song since the first song the living tombstone made years ago, but this one was, and still is, one of, if not, my favorite. I can say with 99% certainty that this is my favorite just because it can be heard as just a song with out fnaf being involved and it’s just so unique and soothing, while having a dark undertone. I just love this. Loved it when it came out and that still hasn’t changed one bit!

Ngl, when I made my profile I just wanted a picture no one else was using and randomly found a gmod picture of Freddy and golden Freddy sitting by a tree next to each other. I realized with the way it is cropped it looks really sus, but it’s not actually a shipping photo or Freddy x Golden Freddy. They are just chilling like a foot or two apart in the full picture. Lol

Also this song is so beautifully structured, adding a new sound to every verse which then adds into the chorus. Second time is a synth bass (I don't know musical terms), and then that electric guitar in the third chorus comin in hot!

I have a theory!
I think William Afton is singing this to Michael (crying child) an hour before he dies. Mainly because he made sound discs that makes Mike think there are spooky monsters in his home. And also because the line(s) “so was it me after all?” I think mrs.Afton accused William of being the reason the bite occurred. She probably would say “you built the thing too strong and you know it!”. Maybe William knows that Mike is having these nightmares, and is saying you’re safe, nothing can really hurt you..
