With the catching fish part, if you avoid making a wave or really just avoid pushing water it’s easier to catch fish bare hand. Same thing works with flies .

They guy who kicked the socker ball in the tube..anyone can do that you could go there and if you know how to make the ball go into a roll inside the ball will always come out pretty much at the same spot every time, if he would had kicked it the other way it would also came out about the same place on the other side..

You can't cut most things with the guard on. Some jobs are inherently dangerous, thus the safety glasses.
